Huisdiervriendelijk chalet, verscholen in de bomen en 3 minuten naar het centrum

De onlangs bijgewerkte 3/2 vakantiewoning van Berne Chalet ligt verscholen in de boomtoppen, maar op slechts 5 minuten van het midden van Asheville! Het is een duplex met 2 verdiepingen, het bovenste niveau is een 2/1 open plattegrond. The Lower Berne is een 1 bed / 1 bad met een beschutte veranda voor warm weer en een omheinde tuin voor huisdieren. Elke unit heeft een eigen ingang en een volledig gevulde keuken.

Een grote veranda op de bovenverdieping met een grill, tafel en stoelen en zithoek en een extra zijporch dragen bij aan een boomhutgevoel. Perfect om te genieten van uw ochtendkoffie terwijl u de zon ziet opkomen boven de bergen. Wij leveren alle linnengoed, handdoeken en badjassen.

Het Berne Chalet heeft de locatie die u zoekt wanneer u Asheville bezoekt, met het gevoel ver weg te zijn van alles op een heuvel, maar toch letterlijk 3 minuten rijden naar het centrum van Asheville. Er zijn drie ruime slaapkamers (2 kingsize en 1 queensize bedden) en twee badkamers. De bovenste Berne is voorzien van een 52-inch tv in de woonkamer. Alle slaapkamers hebben ook tv's. Beide keukens zijn volledig gevuld met koffie, thee, kruiderijen, kruiden, potten en pannen, borden en bestek en meer. Een wasmachine / droger is in de kast van de koningin slaapkamer.

Er is een helling die afloopt naar het bovendek en er is parkeergelegenheid voor 2 voertuigen bij het huis. Gasten kunnen parkeren op korte loopafstand.

Mountain Hideaway

Property was well appointed and clean. The units are small, but well laid out. The upper portion is definitely roomier and has the full dining room table. We made breakfast and they had all of the cookware needed. There are nice views, air conditioning worked well, we didn't experience any issues. We did some a mama bear and her two cubs just up the road! We walked to town one day, 1 mile, and it was very nice without too many cars. I probably wouldn't walk it at night though as there are no sidewalks. Very nice place, thank you!

Perfect Mountain Stay

We were in town for a wedding and rented both units for my adult sons, their partners and ourselves. Location was right for town yet felt like a mountain get-away. All amenities were excellent and hosts were attentive to our requests. Downstairs unit was a little small but still comfy. We highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Asheville.

Convenient location with every comfort of home

We came to Asheville for our son’s wedding and wanted somewhere close to town whilst also taking some time to relax before the events. Weather fluctuated drastically and this Chalet was warm but with many outside porch areas with forest/mountain views for when the sun came out. Well stocked kitchen and great toiletries in the bathrooms! The ground floor is self contained allowing my daughter to WFH in a quiet environment during our stay. Great communications from the property manager.

An Ideal Location - So Close to Downtown!

What a wonderful weekend getaway for our family and two dogs at Berne Chalet! It truly feels like you are up in the mountains yet only minutes to downtown! We enjoyed the top and bottom floors, with enough room for four adults and two dogs… room to spare really. The beds are extremely comfortable and the living space has plenty of seating. The kitchen is stocked with all you need to cook a nice meal, with a few condiments and spices available as well. Coffee and cookies await… and dog treats for the pups. The outdoor porch was a favorite of ours… we enjoyed our morning coffee and the cool mountain air. We even saw a black bear! Berne Chalet is so convenient to downtown but is a beautiful respite from the busy crowds. We enjoyed wandering the shops one day and then river tubing the next with Zen tubing. We hope to visit again! Judy was a terrific host and went out of her way to help us log in to the tv to watch the first weekend of college football! Thank you for a beautiful place to make some family memories!

Nestled on a hill surrounded by trees. Comfortable and well appointed. The front porch was a gem for morning coffee and overall relaxing. You had the feeling you were far away from civilization, yet, there was a grocery store and gas station 0.2 miles away!

The property live up to our expectations and some.Super dog friendly. The management was excellent.We had a slight plumbing problem and they sent a plumber out within an hour. We were able to access management after hours for a door lock problem which was fixed with in minutes.We look forward to booking next year.

Both the upper and lower units were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and beautiful, just minutes from downtown Asheville. There were thoughtful amenities for pets including dog treats and beds, and delicious cookies for human guests!

Lovely Chalet in the woods

My Friends and I enjoyed our experience. They thought of everything you may need for a comfortable stay. From robes to delicious cookies from their bakery. The location is perfect! Tucked away up in the peaceful woods, yet close to all of the activities Ashville has to offer. I will definitely stay again.

Clean and Close

We loved our stay at this clean and ideally located chalet. The location given up privacy for us to appreciate the mountain air, and enough proximity to get to everywhere we wanted to go in less than 15 minutes. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs and were very pleased with the amenities and cleanliness. Also love the nice touches that were geared towards our dog. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The only suggestion I would give is pay attention to the directions. It was rough to find the first time 😁

Excellent winter holiday!

We stayed for a Christmas holiday in Asheville. We rented both upper and lower Berne. We took our three dogs. The units are great for family and dogs. Upper unit has two bedrooms, 1 bath and enough family room seating for five. Dinner table can sit six. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, spices etc. we have never had such a well stocked kitchen - thank you! Also set up well for dogs with a fuzzy bed, small water bowls and treats. This unit has the upstairs deck that is gated and safe for pups. Also a small deck off the dining room. There is a sloped walkway downstairs to parking and the entrance of the lower unit. Lower unit is a small one-bedroom apartment. Again well stocked. This one does not have a dishwasher. Or washer/dryer. Both are located upstairs. Again small water bowl and dog towels. This unit has a side screened in patio that leads to the fenced in space for dogs. Big enough and perfect to let the pups out for a potty break. The location is about 20 mins to Biltmore and less than 10 to the downtown area. Excellent location. Clean. Super well stocked. Enough closet space. Robes. They really do all the nice touches to make it an enjoyable stay. We were there for Christmas and the tree was up and lots of lovely decorations. Thank you! Highly recommend!

Great place for Family Get Together

This property worked out great for us. My eldest daughter brought her to mid-size dogs and stayed on the bottom level while the rest of us were upstairs. It was easy for us to move between the two levels. The location was also convenient - close to downtown, restaurants, et al.
