Welkom bij de Bamboo Bungalow!

Kom bij ons verblijven in de Bamboo Bungalow in West Asheville, waar het artistieke hart en de ziel zich bevinden. De woning is ingericht in een unieke bungalow-stijl met een groot balkon met uitzicht op een serene bamboebos. Geniet van de nieuw ingerichte moderne keuken en gezellige woonkamer. Het wordt niet veel beter dan dit, kom bij ons in de Bamboo Bungalow!

Indeling: Er zijn drie treden naar de veranda, maar de woonruimte bevindt zich allemaal op één niveau. We hebben een open woon / eetkamer met wifi en een smart-tv geregeld. De eigenaar van het huis woont beneden met een huisgenoot. De twee niveaus zijn volledig gescheiden en het is niet nodig om een gemeenschappelijk gebied te delen. Keuken: Er is een fornuis, koelkast, vaatwasser, magnetron, koffiepot, mixer, broodrooster en een volledige set servies en kookgerei. De keuken is uitgerust om te koken indien gewenst. Maar voor het geval u ervoor kiest om van de prachtige restaurants van Asheville te genieten - er is een notitieboekje vol met heerlijke keuzes! Veranda: u vindt een achterveranda waar u kunt ontspannen en genieten van de sereniteit van het bamboebosje en de Franse brede rivier.

Gasttoegang: het hele hoofdniveau is voor uw plezier!

Gastinteractie: onze interactie met jou als onze gasten is gedeeltelijk aan jou! Onze standaardprocedure is om u bij aankomst te begroeten (indien mogelijk), u de sleutel en een korte rondleiding door het huis en aangeboden voorzieningen te geven. We zijn altijd bereikbaar via sms / telefoon voor advies van Asheville!

Wijkoverzicht: Joyner Avenue is een rustige straat die parallel loopt aan de Franse brede rivier en op slechts een straat afstand ligt. Het wordt nieuw leven ingeblazen, als gevolg van de groei van deze levendige gemeenschap. Net onder ons is het Smoky Mountain Adventure Centre met zijn klimmuur en bar. Aan het einde van onze straat vind je het eclectische koffiehuis en café, Edna's at the River, met lokale drankjes, gebakken producten en lekker eten. Als u tijdens uw verblijf in Asheville wilt ontspannen, is dit de buurt voor u!

Verplaatsingen: de beste vervoerswijzen in Asheville zijn absoluut Uber en Lyft.

Andere dingen om op te merken: we zijn gelegen in een rustige straat op vijf minuten lopen van Carrier Park met toegang tot het hele RiverLink-parksysteem langs de Franse brede rivier. Huur een fiets en reis langs de rivier of bezoek het funky River Arts District aan de andere kant van de brug. Huur een binnenband en geniet van een rustige dobber langs de rivier met Zen Tubing of word ambitieus en probeer een stand-up paddleboard (SUP). Bezoek de brouwerijen langs de rivier in New Belgium, The Wedge, of verder stroomafwaarts aan het Bywater, waar je direct langs de rivier kunt trekken. Het Biltmore Estate ligt op slechts 3 mijl afstand. Het centrum van Asheville is 3. 0 mijl afstand gevuld met het straatleven en restaurants. We liggen op 10 minuten rijden van de Blue Ridge Parkway en toegang tot het Appalachian Mountain trail-systeem.

Great weekend

I was in the Asheville area for two separate events and need a place for a couple nights in between. This place was perfect for me. Clean, neat and QUIET. I spent much of my time reading on the porch. Although I could see traffic on the other side of the bamboo forest, I could not hear it. The sound of the wind in the bamboo was so soothing.Bed was comfortable, linens adequate. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure in the shower. I used the washer and dryer and both worked well. Kitchen was well equipped with good quality utensils and appliances. The entirely place was nicely decorated, with a calm feel to it all.As I was driving to the place, at first I was concerned the neighborhood would be sketchy, but when you turn up the drive, you find lovely homes - several obviously renovated. It kind of had an "up and coming" vibe. I felt perfectly safe. The only problem I had was the landlord uses an older lock, like realtors use. I had trouble getting it open. I finally figured out that the numbers needed to be spun first before setting to the correct combination. I called the POC a couple times about it and he was always quick to answer - very friendly and professional. He offered to send someone to help, but I finally figured it out. I appreciated his willing to help though.

So Comfy!

This has been such a clean, comfortable place to stay. Austin and Spencer are fantastic owners, and are extremely attentive to any questions i had. I cannot overstate how much i have enjoyed my stay here, and would definitely stay again!

Very Nice mini vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. We came for a 4 day vacation before school began. At first glance, it appears you are far away from everything but really you are within 2-5 miles of everything you would want to see. My husband and son enjoyed a day on the river fishing with a guide. We enjoyed a 4 hour kayak trip the following day (Ashville Adventure Co. that was 1 mi. away!). It was really fun! It was an enjoyable stay. The home is cozy! The host was very nice and responsive!

A great weekend

My daughter and I loved Asheville and were very comfortable in your home. Love the privacy of the bamboo in the back. There was plenty of room, very clean and any questions we had were answered promptly. There was construction on the street but that could not be helped and I’m sure it is temporary. The coffee maker is getting tired but still worked. We would choose your home again, thank you!

A Wonderful Week

Adorable place in a fabulous location

Easy to find, easy parking, unit within walking distance to the river arts district. Nice, eclectic area. Friendly neighborhood. Good response from hosts. Appreciate the extras, like an extension cord already in the unit. A lot of the times there simply aren’t enough lamps and lighting. Both were ample in the bamboo bungalow.

Bamboo Bungalow

We decided last minute to take a quick week away. After being together in a car for 11 hours, I was looking for a place to stay where we wouldn't be right on top of each other for 5 days. We really enjoyed our stay at the Bamboo Bungalow. It had a nice front and back porch that I had hoped to sit out on and get some sun, but neither porch really got much sun d/t the trees out front and the bamboo forest in the back. That might have been fine if the weather had been warmer, but we booked for mid April so it was a cool 50s- 60s. Still enjoyable listening to and watching the birds out back. The inside was immaculate. And the location was close to a lot of places to do outside activities and eat. Once we figured our way around, it was easy to get places. The only drawback for me was I didn't realize there was no off street parking until we arrived. Owner must have awesome neighbors though, because the space in front of the house was always available every time we came back. The street itself was very quiet, albeit intimidatingly narrow and winding. We would definitely book again if we ever come back to that area. The owner was very responsive to every request/question we had and that was awesome. This was a short vacation so we didn't do any cooking, but the appliances seemed very new. I would recommend placing a King sized bed in the master bed room and updating the couch in the TV area. But otherwise we really enjoyed the home, Thanks for having us!!

Bamboo retreat

We came for a few days to visit Ashville and the biltmore. We drove into the neighborhood and saw multiple people walking their dogs and one family with a stroller. This made us feel very safe and secure. The house was easy to spot as it is surrounded by bamboo. We also loved the proximity to the park, the river, breweries, and the biltmore. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Nice property by the river

We visited Ashville for a visit with family in the area. The house was far enough from the main thoroughfares to be quite and feel safe but close enough that we could walk to town (if we were ambitious). Overall, the house was well appointed and comfortable for my wife and I and our 2 adult sons.

Sweet, comfy cottage in West Asheville

We came to Asheville to visit with friends and get away over the New Year’s holiday. We enjoyed the Bamboo Cottage very much - it was conveniently located in a neighborhood with a lot of character and just across the river from the huge Arts District. If we had an issue or question about the property, the host was quick to respond. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything handy to do some light cooking and snack making. We would gladly book this home again!
