'Brsibane is great. Although the hotel is in the centre somehow it manged to be somewhere where there is absolutly nothing. But don't worry, within 10-15 minutes walk you are in all the goo places or with Lime or uber. Go to South Bank (little stanley street) or city beach, or the Cliffs boardwalk for good food or Fortitude valley for nightlife ;)'

'The star Grand hotel Brisbane is nothing short of amazing!! There is a huge complex with a delightful leisure deck on the 7th floor, many restaurants on the 4th floor, a casino on the 5th floor, and an outstanding roof deck with more restaurants on the 23rd floor. From the 4th floor you can go directly across a beautiful pedestrian bridge that crosses the river to the South Bank cultural precinct. Design detail was spared and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, 5 stars all the way!!'

'Checked in after a flight from Cairns where we had a fantastic Marina view room with the sunrise through our balcony to the bed every morning. Of course we knew the high-rise Hyatt Regency was not going to beat that, but a city skyline or river view from a high 15th floor room would be good. We had a 5th floor view of a rear lane. Close the drapes and enjoy the super comfy bed and clever room layout. Plenty of breakfast places within 5 mins walk. Right on the CBD doorstep.'

'I love Ode Properties. They have amazing beds. I was empathetic toward the front desk staff, as she was dealing with an impossible customer, and I had to wait a while to check in, but because we commiserated she upgraded me. It was so thoughtful of her. I loved my room. Only annoyance is the motorbikes zooming around on the roads behind the hotel at odd hours of the night.
