'Very comfortable & clean & tidy.'

'Es gibt keine kostenlosen Parkplätze, sondern nur öffentliche kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Unterkunft ist nicht sehr sauber. Man bekommt keine Antwort vom Besitzer. Es gibt auch kein 24 Stunden Front Desk. Als wir gebucht hatten, stand sogar noch dabei, dass man die ganze Unterkunft alleine zur Verfügung hat, das stimmt aber nicht, es ist nur ein Zimmer. Die Treppen sind sehr steil.'

'Fantastic stay. I was celebrating with 13 other friends. The house was perfect for us, lovely hot tub and games area, kitchen facilities were well maintained with plenty of fridge space. The rooms were very clean on arrival and just as expected. Geert was very accomodating. Taxis for all of us into Ghent would have been €240 however a 30 min walk to the loc train station saved us a lot of money. '

'Place was advertised as a whole house with 2 double beds, in the end it was only 1 room with one double bed, a shared livingroom/kitchen and bathroom. But the owners were understanding and gave us a different room as we couldn't sleep in the Same bed. It was clean and the location wasn't loud at all. Stairs were a bit small, but doable. 'Checkin/out was easy, but strange about key box at "dog level". Stairwell has not been renovated for a long time, but so far ok. Apartment is on first floor and has only a very simple lock. Bathroom/toilet are halfway up the stairs (outside apartment), and you don't know exactly who else uses them. During a night-time use, someone knocked loudly on the door from the hallway. Beds are worn out, have hollows and when removing the bedding you could see that the mattresses already have clear signs...

'It was a really nice stay at Kitty’s cottage. It is great if you need some quiet time in the nature, but also if you want to visit around (Ghent is 20km away and Anvers 30km). The place had everything we needed and Kitty was always there to help, while valuing our privacy. The amazing pets and animals on the property made our stay even better. Thank you again!'

'We had a great stay in the house. It’s a very peaceful location surrounded by beautiful countryside. The house has two ‘fields’ for gardens at the rear with a mown lawn area near to the house with a patio area allowing you to sit outside for meals. The house is well furnished and well sized for a family. A short drive away are supermarkets a fantastic bakery and several restaurants. 'The owner entered the room without permission and without a shirt - his usual attire- and began yelling because we turned on the heat in the kitchen (a wood stove) in order to have heat in the top floor room. He said it would cost us 10 EU per day to have heat at night. The kitchen was so filthy with a rancid greese odor we could not cook anything. The room was also very dirty.
