We had a lovely stay! The house is in a perfect location to enjoy downtown Monroe - just a short 10 minute walk. And that is with a 7 & 9 year old :)With it being so hot, we did end up driving for must of our trips out. Parking was very easy for us (weekdays). There are so many food options to choose from, too! One of our favorites was Felicia's kitchen (just a short drive). We also tried Thai Won On, Le Gabrielle, & Scoops downtown - they were all very good.We loved the pool area. You get a wonderful view of a few big trees and open sky. The furniture around the pool was very comfortable. The high ceilings in the house make it feel very spacious. It felt bigger then I expected from the photos. The house was also stocked with everything we needed. The kids loved the little glass ice cream cups and small goblets in the cupboards. We were visiting from Lawrenceville for a small staycation - our main draw being the private pool - and it was just what we were hoping for.
