'The location was central and convenient for our stay and the room was clean. We had an issue with the sofa bed and I would recommend it needs replacing going forward. The cleaner that assisted us regarding this did their best to help and dropping off the replacement doona was appreciated. '

'I booked it and then about 24 hours later they emailed me that the office closes at 4. I requested after hour checkin process. I didn’t hear anything for 12 hours and only received “call us urgently”. When I called the phone provided, no one answered. They finally called me after 8 PM and blamed me for poor communication and accused me of not calling! Zero focus on the customer and worse communication. '

'We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. It was clean, well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Check in instructions were clear and concise. The gated community added that extra feeling of security. We only wish we had planned to stay longer. I will definitely return if we are ever in Cairns in the future.'

'Geen schoonheidsprijs, maar de prijs is wel zeer aantrekkelijk. Kussensloop was zo dun dat je de vlekken in de kussens kon zien. Het zwembad daarentegen was wel heerlijk. Redelijk groot en zeker schoon. Al met al kan dit hotel wel een facelift gebruiken. Als de kamers netter en moderner zijn is dit echt een fantastisch hotel. De manager / eigenaar is overigens heel behulpzaam.'

Isabel and the host team communicated regularly and clearly and were responsive to questions even during a holiday week. Water views even from the ground floor, easy access to the waterfront Esplanade path ( note this ‘beach’ is not swimmable) and a 5-10 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk to the downtown and piers of Cairns. 10 minutes from the airport.
