My stay at Ramada by Wyndham was both traumatizing and deeply disappointing.
I checked in on February 13th at approximately 11:50 PM and was initially assigned Room 607. Upon entering the room, I attempted to use the restroom and immediately discovered that the toilet was not functioning. I returned to the front desk to report the issue and was reassigned to Room 626.
Unfortunately, this room presented even more serious problems. The lights did not work properly, the smoke detector beeped continuously throughout the night, the toilet did not flush and ran nonstop, and the shower water pressure was barely a trickle. Due to exhaustion from my flight, I attempted to rest and planned to address these concerns the following morning.
On February 14th, I was moved again—this time to Room 430. Upon inspection, I discovered that the room was infested with bedbugs. I immediately documented the condition with both photos and videos to corroborate my findings.
Given the repeated room failures, unsanitary conditions, and the distress caused by this experience, I requested a full refund and agreed to leave the property peacefully. I was explicitly promised a full refund by hotel staff. I’m still waiting on my refund 🤬
This experience was unacceptable and far below the standards expected of a Wyndham-branded property.
