'Our stay at Fairholm was exceptional. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful (specifically Sam who we mostly dealt with, but anyone we interacted with). They went above and beyond to assist with any questions or needs. The grounds are beautiful, we had an apartment and it was so nice to have the option the make food and sit at one of the outdoor spaces and have dinner or breakfast. When you want to go out everything downtown/waterfront is a few minutes walk. The most ideal location....

'This lovely bed and breakfast is tucked into a quiet residential area of Grand Falls - Windsor, yet just minutes by car from shopping and restaurants. Exceptionally clean. Breakfast was made to order and of good quality. Owners and staff are friendly and amenable. Comfortable seating areas indoors and out for small groups travelling together. '

'What a lovely hotel. This is the first hotel in Pictou and it is gorgeous. The entire hotel is gorgeous, our room was wonderful and the breakfast was nice. The only downsize is that there is no elevator so it was alot of steps to get to the first floor room.'

'The location was fantastic! The establishment has been restored amazingly. Check in was easy, once the code worked for our door. No elevators and we were on the third floor, so we brought up only what we needed for the night. It was clean, quiet and our bed was comfortable. Location is great, walkable to the boardwalk and restaurants. '

'The accommodations were in an old historical house. Greeted warmly by the owner Gloria upon our arrival we found the space perfect for our group. Two bedroom apartment in the attic is what we booked. Totally exceeded our expectations. Would stay here again in a heartbeat'

'Such a great place. Too bad we were not able to stay long. There is a shared bathroom, that was very clean. They offer a breakfast, which was probably outstanding with all their fresh fruits, vegetables and eggs - yes they have chickens, geese, lambs and vegetable gardens and strawberries growing there. However, we had to leave early to catch the ferry and we’re still offered a great continental breakfast. Such a refreshing and relaxing place to stay. A glimpse of living close to the land. They...
