'It’s pricey, but in my opinion, it’s one of the best, if not the best, hotel in Halifax. Right on the waterfront boardwalk, numerous dining options within easy walking distance. '

'We loved the friendliness of the staff in the lobby and the restaurant. The rooms were big and clean. The tennis court, basketball court and swimming pool were ideal for our 4 teenagers. We ate lobster in the restaurant which was perfectly boiled and served. We would recommend this accomodation to other persons.'

'Lovely property and very friendly staff. Clean rooms, nice shower. Beautiful property. My complaint would be the wait time for breakfast. That was terrible and the quality you get for what you pay was seriously lacking. Dinner was normal wait times and tasty food. Noticed that one room had their “room service” dishes sitting outside their door for the 2 days we were there. It was the same dishes as there was a water bottle balancing on top of them.'

'This is a little overdue, however I definitely wanted to post this. So I rolled in here on Friday February 2nd for a skiing weekend at Cape Smokey, and was due to check out Sunday morning February 4th...but after 120 cm of snow over the weekend, I didn't get out until February 6th. All I can say is that the staff were absolutely outstanding in what must have been a difficult situation for them in what was one of the worst snowstorms in decades.
