Het ligt in een mooi domein, met vijver en al. De kamer heeft alle comfort, en het inbegrepen ontbijt is geweldig. Een diner in het Restaurant 1818 is een absolute aanrader ! 'Colleen is the most gracious hostess, she met us at the door on arrival and gave us a tour of her beautiful home. She made us feel like we were family. Sunnyside is full of beautiful paintings and antiques. We were free to roam the house and enjoy the libraries and other rooms at our leisure. The beds were soooo comfortable! '

'Om te beginnen liggen de meeste kamers niet in het hoofdgebouw, maar in een aanpalend gebouw erachter.
Onze kamer gaf uit op een donkere steeg en bleek de enige kamer zonder daglicht te zijn. De vensters waren afgesloten met luiken. Geen idee wanneer die voor het laatst zijn geopend, want er was geen beweging in te krijgen.
Ontbijt was inbegrepen in de overnachting, maar dat was de naam ontbijt NIET waardig. De tweede ochtend zijn we naar de stad gegeten om deftig te ontbijten.

'Pleasant, inviting, friendly, conveniently located, clean. Excellent breakfasts. Charming, attentive hostess. We were in upstairs bedroom— spacious, comfortable beds, good air conditioning. My one recommendation would be that they find a way to work in a shower stall in the bathroom. '

'This place is a treasure! We stayed in the next door property owned by the same people and both homes are so charming! The rooms were all quite big and they even gave us the room that adjoined another! Everything was clean and well organized.The bed was very comfortable and everything was just so thoughtfully designed. Eleanor and Ron were perfect hosts. If you have the chance, this place is worth the visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience!'
