'Host was very hospitable and helpful. Provided an excellent and interesting tour of the main floor rooms, explaining historical significance and the house design and construction, as well as the furniture, art, paintings, decor, dining ware etc. The room was comfortable, clean, bed was comfortable. The private washroom and shower were clean. Parking was free on the street in front or at the side of the mansion, street lighting was good, no concerns strolling around town at night and down to the...

'The owner was a great host. He was very informative and knowledgeable. His home is a museum of beautiful antique furniture and paintings. We especially enjoyed walking the neighborhood and admiring all the beautiful historic homes. The home cooked breakfast was 5 star and served beautifully on an impeccably set table. The antique dishes and silver serving pieces were gorgeous and made for a dining experience that takes you back in time.'

'Our host, who doesn't live in the house, gave us free run of the place since no one else had rented the other bedroom. The place was comfortable but not updated. Our host was very pleasant and accommodating and we enjoyed visiting with her. She provided us with a nice breakfast using eggs from her own hens.'

'Goed hotel in een mooie omgeving. '

'Prachtige locatie, prachtig oud huis uit vervlogen tijden.Prima parkeergelegenheid en op loopafstand naar de oude stad. Super vriendelijke mensen die er alles aan doen om je tevreden te stellen. In de kamer, voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt, waan je je even in vroegere tijden van het oude Natchez. Tijdens het ontbijt kletsen met de andere gasten over hun ervaringen. Als we ooit weer in Natchez zijn gaan we weer naar dit huis.'

Our room was comfortable, clean and exactly what you hope for when staying in a historic property like this. Breakfast was absolutely excellent — actually one of the best breakfasts we had during our entire trip through the South! A very special thank you to Miss Denise. She was incredibly kind, welcoming and genuine, and...

'A precious gem! If you love historical places and want to know what true southern hospitality means, this is the place to go. The owners are amazing and their restored house, former slavequarters is beautiful. The town of Natchez is a perfect place to learn about antebellum history. The breakfast is made with love and tasted amazing, don’t know how the toast is made but its magic! You can park your car next to the house.'

'The property is a large antebellum mansion plus a couple of cottages set among ancient live oaks in the countryside about 15 minutes from the historic center of Natchez. It is nothing short of spectacular. The owner and staff are lovely ladies in the Southern tradition (even if they are transplants from up north.) The house guests all have a full breakfast together at the dining room table, which makes for friendly discussions of fun plans for the day. I personally did not sip a toddy on the...
