1) The good bits * Warm welcome * Good and clean large room * Nice and friendly housekeeping staff - they showed us where our room was as we got lost in the maze of rooms and corridors 2) The not so good bits * The extractor fan in the bathroom is permanently on, noisy and whines terribly and the bathroom door squeaks badly making it impossible to use it without waking up your partner * The buffet in the evening was ok but not great. Soup was very watery, and the hot food options were only warm not hot. I wouldn't recommend it.

This hotel os very basic. The hotel states it does 24hr room service which it does not do any longer. The food is very poor quality. The staff are not very good either. On our stay we checked in late 11pm and requested an extended check out. An hour extension was offered and i asked if the was anything later and was advised that was cheeky. Come the next morning the cleaning crew was accessing my room with little more than a knock on the door at the usual check out time and not the extension requested. Then it seemed a hassle for them to hold our baggage for a few hours. Overall, this is not a good hotel or experience.

Loved the pool, and outdoor dining around the pool. Very nice .eal.optio s at the restaurant. Loved the room patio doors opening to the outside. The live plants everywhere were lovely. The reception desk agents were helpful and super competent. Would recommend for anyone needing a stayiver near Auckland airport.
