Long Point Lake House - Phil's Place

Relax with those closest to you at this peaceful home right on Cayuga Lake. This cozy retreat is just minutes away from the charming town of Aurora, offering the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Surrounding the area are local vineyards, breweries, and hiking trails, as well as attractions like the Inns of Aurora and Makenzie-Childs. And if you want to explore further, Cornell and Ithaca are only a 30-minute drive south.

The house has been designed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, with a special focus on maximizing the beautiful lake views. The first floor is open and filled with natural light, thanks to large windows overlooking the water. The kitchen is fully stocked and is open to the rest of the floor so you don't have to be apart from your group while preparing your meals which can be enjoyed in the dining room with seating for 6.



The 1st floor has the primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms. A small library nook on the balcony is the perfect place to curl up with a good book overlooking the lake.



Fully enjoy all the lake has to offer from a spacious deck with outdoor seating and a dining area. A private dock allows you to take a refreshing swim in Cayuga Lake. There is also a grill provided. You can also stay on the deck until the sun goes down and enjoy a glass of local wine while watching some of the most incredible sunsets you will ever see!



The boat lift is out of service for the 2026 season while we await repairs. Overnight docking at the house is prohibited.



PLEASE NOTE: This is a lake house in a rural area. There will be some spiders and bugs no matter how carefully we clean. The road to the house is a 1 lane dirt road. We love the quiet seclusion and the beauty that this house has and we know you will too, but please understand the area that you will be staying in.
