'We had a fantastic vacation in the Finger Lakes, and our stay at Casa Carmela was certainly a highlight. The view is amazing looking out over Owasco Lake and we enjoyed the use of the kayaks and boat. The house is in a great location to access western NY, the other Finger Lakes, and Syracuse. Wish we could have taken advantage of the ice cream and mini-golf up the hill, but maybe we'll be back in the summer months!'

Chris was very helpful and when he learned we were coming to be in the area for the eclipse he let us stay for the entire afternoon even though check out was at 10 AM since he didn't have a booking after us. 'Our family thoroughly enjoyed a few nights on the banks of Cayuga Lake, while being very close to Ithaca and surrounding natural areas of interest. We loved the warm wood floors and overall timeless character of the home. Great views of the lake including awesome master bedroom views as well. The outdoor stairs and decking all appeared recently updated and provided good access to the dock and water. We had pretty decent weather to fish a bit off the dock with the kids, but it was too chilly to...

'Our Seneca 7 team stayed the night before the race. The cottage was perfect for our group to share dinner Saturday night, get hot showers, and enjoy a great night of sleep. It was sad to leave in the morning. Would have loved to enjoy the beautiful place longer. Would love to come back soon! Thank you to our hosts!'

The wood burner was great for a chilly early spring weekend, Elizabeth was very clear and accommodating in her communications making it very easy and everything was just great. My only regret is not booking the third night to stay for the Solar Eclipse and to get to explore the property further. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and the accommodations at the Yurt were perfect for my wife and I!'

'We had a great time relaxing by the fire pit. Everything we needed to keep a good fire going for multiple nights was provided. Close by to good breakfasts at Angels, and just a short drive to Watkins Glenn and other attractions by the lake.'

'Came for 3 days to visit Cornell with my daughter and this home was perfect. Small, yet not lacking anything, rustic but lacking none of the modern tech. The backyard waterful, fire pit and views are worth the stay alone. Would definitely stay again.'
