Dit is een geweldige locatie in het beroemde Hyde Park om je Austin-avontuur te beginnen! Het is buiten het centrum genoeg om goed te slapen, maar toch dicht bij alles wat er aan de hand is. Er zijn veel uitstekende bars en restaurants in dit deel van de stad, waaronder Hopdoddy, Uchiko, Taco Deli, Maudie's, Draft House, Antonelli's, Food Heads, Central Market (beter dan Whole Foods) en nog veel meer!

## Ruimte

Dit studio-appartement heeft een uitstekende centrale locatie in Austin! Het is verderop in de straat van de Triangle (bars / restaurant en residentiële ontwikkeling) en zeer dicht bij het centrum met goede toegang tot het openbaar vervoer, wat betekent dat je super dicht bij alles bent. Het is onlangs opnieuw ingericht. Het appartement past comfortabel voor 4 personen met 2 in het queensize bed en 2 op de comfortabele slaapbank.

## Toegang

Naast het hele appartement is er ook een kleine wasserette in het gebouw en de Triangle en Shipe Park liggen beide op loopafstand (<0,5 mijl). Shipe Park heeft gratis sportvelden en velden, een peuterbad, een speeltuin en een picknickplaats.

if you are looking for a place to get a decent night sleep. This is not for you. The TV playing at a neighbors very loudly from 10 PM to 5 AM. was intolerable. After speaking with a neighbor, he confirmed that the walls are so thin in this complex that there’s no avoiding the noise. In addition, there’s a terrible musty smell that is attempted to be camouflaged by a strong plug in air freshener. Several communications with the property manager proofed worthless. PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS!

I loved this spot! It was the perfect accommodation. Everything was neat and clean. I made good use of the writing desk to get some work done during my stay. The view from the front window was very peaceful. If you park in front of the unit, there are big trees that give lots of shade. The bed was comfortable and huge! I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the apartment feel like home: hangers in the closet, plenty of towels, a hair dryer, and comfy pillows. The host was also so responsive and helpful when I had initial issues with the wifi. I absolutely recommend this spot for trips to Austin! You can vibe like a local during your visit in a safe, beautiful neighborhood.

Great location, BUT... the unit needs repair. Upon arriving, we were greeted with a strong musty odor, and standing water along the wall of the apartment where the door and window are situated. The host was responsive, but because it was a holiday, it was a few days before someone could come look at it, but there was no easy fix. It leaked again a few days later before we left. The rotting bottom edge of the front door along with the musty odor indicates that this has been a problem for some time.As others have commented, you won't find a plug near the bathroom sink, so if you need to use a hair dryer, your options are limited. Also, as others have commented, you will need a sound machine because a nocturnal tenant resides in the unit above. In addition to the loud TV, you can hear a chair sliding across the floor all night long. This happened every night for four nights ending at 4:30 a.m.The kitchenette was handy, and the bed was very comfortable, but given the other issues, we won't be making a return visit.

Great Location But . . .

The property is in a great neighborhood with beautiful old houses with gorgeous yards. I loved walking around the neighborhood. However, this small apartment complex stands out. It is very old, exterior shows it age. The inside of the apartment is cute, had everything that I needed for a week’s stay. However, since it is old, the baseboards and bottom of doors are very worn and a coat of paint doesn’t cover it. Most of the apartment has been nicely updated. When I initially walked in, the place smelled musty, turning on the AC helped but didn’t solve the issue. In the shower/toilet area, I did notice some black on the ceiling, didn’t get close enough to see what it was. AC vents could be cleaner. Parking was perfect, right outside the apartment door. Just enough space for my week long visit. I diid hear the person upstairs, every night at about 11:30, fortunately didn’t keep me awake. I frequently come to Austin, looking for a place to stay about 4 - 6 times a year, unfortunately, I don’t think this place is for me. The musty smell and black stuff in bathroom are the main things that bother me. I will say that I’m picky so it may be just right for someone else. Good / quick communication with the host.

Great neighborhood, but old and needs some attention

Some good, some not so good. The unit is a perfect size for a party of one or two, for folks looking for basic accommodations without a lot of frills. The bed was very comfy. The location is fantastic if you're looking to embed yourself in a cool neighborhood for your stay and walk to food, coffee, entertainment, etc. We loved that aspect, even with all the street construction nearby. Communication with the property management was speedy and reliable. All very much appreciated. However, the unit is old and the renovations are primarily surface-level. The walls and floorboards were visibly dirty and stained. The bathroom was marginal, and the unit smelled verrrry musty. The smell was probably my biggest complaint. I thought I could get past it, but it was very prominent. There was also a huge dumpster right outside our door that was overflowing and did not get emptied during our stay, and that also smelled. The dumpster is not the property owner's responsibility, of course, but its proximity to our unit just added to the overall unpleasant odor. It was really a shame. I get it that these apartments are old and have seen a lot of traffic over the years, and that this is a budget accommodation, but the smell is a deal breaker for me and I would not rent again.

We booked this listing because the photos looked nice and the location was decent. This rental is located in a run down apartment building with thin walls. It is a ground floor unit with parking directly in front of the door similar to a run down old motel. The room faces the alley and garbage dumpsters. The above neighbour had their TV on full volume until 2am and then rolled around on their chair at 6am. We were in the room for 8 hours and left to find somewhere else to stay. We requested a refund or partial refund and were declined. I'll save you the headache. Don't bother booking this location.

Nice property, good for visits to UT

I was happy to find this was closer to the UT campus than I realized! Only 1.9 miles from the San Antonio Garage. Cute small property. We arrived late at night and had trouble finding street signs and house numbers in the dark, but we did get there and had a great weekend. The kitchen is very small, but we were eating out so it didn’t matter.

Great and Fast Customer Service

I am highly allergic to down comforters, pillows, etc. However, I only realized they were dead two hours when I was so miserable I could barely function. I quickly realized and found replacement linens closet. I sent an email to the property owner and asked that the linens be removed from the room and they were extremely accommodating and quick!!!

Very convenient and comfortable. Love this neighborhood, and our host was very responsive and helpful. Small touches like a filter pitcher of cold water in the fridge are really nice, especially on a hot Texas day! We would be happy to stay again in the future.
