Best place to have a wedding in Hill Country
This property was absolutely stunning! We had our wedding here and the views, house, and animals really made it special and magical. We had 11 people comfortably stay in the home. I highly recommend this place for any get together, wedding, or any event!

Wonderful Stay
Great place. Many on site activities to keep everyone busy. A nice surprise was the pool was heated and enjoyed on many occaions. The 2 refrigerators came in handy. We appreciated the welcome gift. I will definitely rent again when visiting relatives in Dripping Springs.

More than the pictures!
everything was top notch at the house. there is more serving pieces than noted in the photos and two refrigerators along with a big walk in pantry, which helps with food storage. the views from the back of the house were awesome - complete with 2 longhorns and a donkey! plenty of activities - heated pool, pickleball, corn hole etc. we were in for a wedding and the venue was a mile up the road - which was so great. Beds were comfy and plenty of towels were provided - plus laundry machines were available as needed. the only thing i’d recommend is an ice machine or provide a couple bags of ice for beverages - we found ourselves running out for ice. i would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home and great host/hostess. they were available and responsive for any questions and even provided a couple u tube videos which explained more about the house. we had a wonderful stay abs the property exceeded our e ie rations - better than the photos!!

Great stay for friends wedding weekend
We rented the Longhorn B&B with a group of several friends (with their kids) for a nearby wedding. The property exceeded our expectations and Jana was great to work with. The pool was great and we enjoyed the fire pit, too. A couple minor minor notes about the beds: the bunk beds in the bunk room are squeaky, and the people who stayed in that room were very self-conscious of moving at night so as not to bother others. Also: we had hoped that the futons might be able to accommodate two people but realized once we arrived that they fold out to somewhere between a twin and full, and therefore can only really fit one person. Overall we had a great stay and would go back!

Meredith, I am so happy you and your family and friends enjoyed your stay! Thank you for letting me know about the squeaky bunk bed- we will see if we can fix or replace them ASAP! We just added a pickle ball court on the slab area and I hope we will be able to host you all again!

Beautiful Hill Country View
Great open floor plan with a magnificent view. We had a great time at the pool, playing pickle ball, and corn hole games. The house is very well supplied with everyday items. Very very clean, and no bugs. We loved it.

Five stars!
If we are in Dripping Springs again, we will definitely be back! The common spaces were large enough for our group to cook, play cards, and spend time together. We could see the longhorns and the donkey from the large windows. There was plenty of parking for our 5 cars, the wifi worked great, and every detail was perfect.

Longhorn B&B - Fabulous place!
We stayed here for one of my son’s wedding. The house was beautiful as were the furnishings. I was cooking for our family so it was great that the kitchen was well stocked! I think that this is by far the best VRBO rental we’ve seen.

Can’t say enough good things. Great location to head into amAustin for night life, day on Lake Travis or time floating down the river. We had no trouble at all getting Ubers to all locations.

Great place for our extended family of 18
Enjoyed the large covered patio and pool area. Even with the summer heat the breeze was there all week and we could stay outside most of the time. Enjoyed the disc golf, corn hole and daily deer sightings.

Fabulous family and friends time
This house was just perfect! Lots of room to relax and visit, play games, and finally sleep! We grilled steaks and talked to the Longhorn, swam in the pool every day, and enjoyed the vast sky above!

Bachelor Party
The property was great for my sons bachelor party. We spent a lot of time in the pool, played life-sized Catan and disc golf, and were able to walk to the paintball place next door. Uber to downtown Austin ran about $35-$40 for 4 people, and was about a 20 minute ride.

Worked for our needs but not what we expected
I had a group of my friends in town for my daughter’s wedding and we hosted the bridesmaids for hair and makeup the day of the wedding. The house has gorgeous natural light and a beautiful view. It’s very spacious with enough room for a large group to feel comfortable and not be on top of each other. The pool house is a nice touch for anyone who prefers extra privacy. It feels out of the city but the main road for Dripping Springs is at the end of the drive which was perfect for getting to the grocery store and wedding venue easily. We had consistent issues with the plumbing. No hot water in the second shower and the toilets not refilling to flush. The property manager was prompt in attempting a repair but it needed a plumber so it wasn’t completely resolved. The bathtub in the Master bedroom wasn’t clean when we got there so I took care of it myself. A few things to know before your trip. The property is quite dated. Not a deal breaker but good to know. The pool is not heated, unless you enjoy a polar plunge it is unusable outside of the Summer months. For the price, that’s a major disappointment. The grill is different than the one shown in the welcome video. It is very small and was quite dirty so we didn’t use it. The fire pit is a nice feature but there is a house with a tenant on the opposite side of the fence. We didn’t feel comfortable sitting out there late at night for fear we would disturb them. So that’s yet another feature not used. Overall, it worked for our needs but all of my guests expressed frustration and felt they overpaid which was a bit embarrassing for me.

Family gathering to celebrate 2020 graduations. We enjoyed all the amenities especially feeding the Longhorns. Big table was great for meals and games. Beautiful setting up high on the hill with a great breeze and view. Loved the swing :) PS the bunk beds do squeak a bit Thanks an amazing weekend, would love to stay again.

Lovely Stay during Spring Break!!
We spent couple of days during Spring-Break week at the Ranch, we had a great time!! The house is exactly as it was described and the location is much better than you read on reviews. Feeding the long horns and fishing were of great interest to kids! The pool is nice and clean except was a little cold during Spring Break time but was ok after a couple of drinks..lol The kids didn’t seem to have a problem, they just enjoyed. The fireplace, s’mores time, pool, lakes, trails, great house space made this a perfect home for vacation! Thank you :)

Fun girls trip
The home was more than what we expected. The kids definitely enjoyed the pool, pond, and animals in the area. Loved that there were beach towels available, Inflatables, and the washer and dryer made wet laundry much more easier to handle. The only thing that I noticed was that there was no bottled water or sparkling waters available as listed on the website that were suppose to be a courtesy. We ended up having to stop by a near grocery store to pick some up. Other than that we had a very great experience. Jana answered all my concerns prior to our visit as well as making it easy to extend our stay.

Country Comfort- Spacious Getaway!
Had the best girls get away in Dripping Springs! The home was clean and spacious, with plenty of beds for everyone. Home owner sent a detailed video on how to access the home and what to expect. Very helpful! We spent most of our time out on the deck and in the pool. Would love to bring my family back in the future. I know our kids would have a blast in the pool and checking out the Longhorns! Thanks again!

We had a great long weekend here and enjoyed our stay. The outdoor space (pool/patio) is great. We loved swimming and caught a few fish in the pond. We did think it would be a secluded 20 acres but there are other structures and people very close. Kids enjoyed the animals. The house was very clean. Kitchen was a little spare so if you plan on cooking come prepared. Host had a cute welcome basket and smores basket which I thought was nice! Lots of board games and plenty to do near by!

We had a great time! The place is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect (quiet and secluded-feeling, but close to a Whataburger and an HEB!). We loved sitting outside by the pool and watching Freckles the Longhorn.
