Het rode huis (licentie # 100853) ligt aan een rustige, met bomen omzoomde straat op slechts 2 blokken van South Congress (SoCo) in het charmante Travis Heights. Wandel naar fantastische restaurants, cafés, boetieks en muzieklocaties. Je kunt ook gemakkelijk een bus nemen of naar het centrum lopen.

Deze lichte, gemoderniseerde 1926-bungalow is de ideale plek om te ontspannen na een dag of nacht verkennen van het levendige Austin.

Geniet van een ijsthee of margarita in de eigen achtertuin - onder een majestueuze 350 jaar oude eik.

Geniet van een goede nachtrust op de comfortabele eco-bamboe-traagschuimmatrassen. Beide slaapkamers op de begane grond zijn voorzien van queensize bedden en beddengoed van hoge kwaliteit. De grote slaapkamer beschikt over een grote inloopkast. Een loft met een dubbele futon slaapt extra gasten.

De grote badkamer heeft een bad / douchecombinatie en leistenen tegelvloeren. Een half badkamer en wasruimte zijn gunstig gelegen naast de keuken.

De keuken, eetkamer en woonkamer zijn voorzien van hoge gewelfde plafonds. De volledig uitgeruste keuken is voorzien van een gasoven, vaatwasser, afvoer, magnetron, koffiemolen, franse pers, broodrooster en mixer. De flatscreen-tv in de woonkamer is uitgerust met google fiber tv, een dvr en een dvd-speler. Er is ook een digitale radio met pandora en internetradiostations.

Als je moet werken, vind je een ruim bureau en de snelste wifi beschikbaar (Google Fiber)!

Er is een carport voor één voertuig plus gratis parkeren op straat.

Het mooie Stacy Park ligt 3 blokken ten oosten en is uitgerust met 3 hectare aan wandelpaden en een verwarmd, lente-gevoed zwembad. Je zult ook een pierenbadje, speeltuin en vriendelijke buren vinden in Little Stacy Park - genoeg plezier om zelfs de allerkleinste reizigers urenlang te vermaken.

Perfect location

This is in a dream neighborhood and feels very authentically Austin (we lived in ATX for 9 years). A small space but plenty for a family of four. Very clean and well-stocked with towels, dishes, glassware, etc. MASSIVE closet. Soft sheets. It’s not updated in the way a lot of rentals are (all white and black) but we kind of liked that it still maintained the character of the original house. Charming! Just don’t flush while someone is in the shower! Outdoor area is really spacious but no grass. Walking distance to all of South Congress and very easy Lyft rides anywhere else. We came with two kids and the games in the red cabinet were so clutch!! Would highly recommend if you love Austin and want to be right in the middle of it.

Amazing Stay!!!

We had the best time in Austin staying here!! The house was adorable and the perfect size for just me and my mom. We were so happy to be extremely walkable to so many shops, bars, and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home and great location

We had a wonderful stay at The Red House for our first visit to Austin and my husband’s 72nd birthday. From walking in to lights on and soft music playing to being close enough to walk to South Congress, our visit was great! Comfortable beds and linens for a good night’s sleep, a very well-stocked kitchen and great internet made for a relaxing stay. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed during Austin City Limits concert. About 5 days. We walked to some neighborhood stores Used Uber for getting around. It was pleasant and comfortable house. Great location, great communication with hosts.Would definitely use again. Thanks!!!

Overall the house was great. Location was extremely close to congress and tons of restaurants. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs but the house itself could really use a deep clean. Linens and dishes were fine but the floors and bathrooms felt like they had a layer of dirt on them. Also just a good amount of dust and dirt on windowsills and lamp fixtures. Overall would have been a perfect stay had the house been a bit cleaner but would definitely recommend for anyone looking to be right in the hub of Austin.

Fabulous location - short walk to everything!

This is exactly as pictured and described on the site. It is super convenient to dining, shopping, and just walking in Austin. this was a short getaway with a girlfriend, and the 2 bedrooms worked perfectly. We didn't need to use the upstairs loft. The owner communicated well and responded quickly. the place was spotless (and I am a bit of a germ freak!) so felt comfy there. The outside area was nice, with a huge, beautiful tree in the back yard. It is in a neighborhood, so you have houses surrounding you, but frankly was surprisingly quiet. But primarily it is the location that makes it. We left our car there and basically walked everywhere

Perfect South Congress location!

Perfect house for our stay! Tons of little amenities that we appreciated- especially coffee filters and laundry detergent. Quiet neighborhood that’s an easy walk to South Congress. If it wasn’t booked, we’d be back in a couple of weeks for St. Edward’s Homecoming.

Can't Wait to Go Back!

A friend and I stayed here during a long weekend in Austin while hosting an event in Bouldin Creek. It was a great location for us—walkable to so much, including a great running/walking trail and easy access to the "Town Lake". The rooms were cozy, the extra bathroom was appreciated, and the tree lined street was beautiful in the spring. I appreciated the items included that would make it comfortable to stay here with kids, too—highchair, extra space, a few games, etc. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing location. So much to do within blocks from the house

It worked out perfectly for me and one friend to have plenty of space. Very safe community and just a few minute walk to plenty of shopping and restaurants live music. We had a great time.
