Downtown Austin Modern Retreat, verwarmd zwembad en bubbelbad in een openluchtoase

Ideaal voor grote groepen op loopafstand van het centrum van Austin. Deze twee thuis privé Oasis biedt plaats aan maximaal 16 personen en beschikt over een strak modern zwembad met een extra groot bubbelbad. Restaurants en bars binnen een paar blokken. Het hoofdhuis is 3 slaapkamers, 2. 5 badkamers en The Guesthouse is 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Geniet van het hele huis audio, jeu de boules bal, tafelvoetbal, skee bal, ping pong, ladder golf, Outdoor Jinga, dubbele dartborden, haak gooien, maisgat, bier pong en bordspellen. Kruip rond de vuurplaats voor die koele nachten en gesprekken over het kampvuur.
Slaap 16 in bedden met 10 in het voorhuis en 8 in het achterhuis bevestigd samen met 3 garages.

Het is binnen 6 blokken van alle UT-stadions (UT-honkbal, UT-basketbal, UT-voetbal, UT-softbal en UT-zwemmen). Niets heeft gespaard bij de bouw van dit landgoed, van de gastronomische keuken tot het enorme buitenentertainment met binnenhuis hele audio en buitenluidsprekers bij het zwembad en in de achtertuin. Je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt om te ontspannen of grote groepen te vermaken. Het ligt op een van de beste locaties om van Austin te genieten. Franklin's BBQ ligt op slechts een paar blokken van de voordeur, verkozen tot beste BBQ in de natie. Test je eigen grillen en roken vaardigheden op een state of the art Traeger pelletroker, pellets verstrekt!

Dit prachtige huis heeft alles wat nodig is voor een luxueus verblijf met gebeitste betonnen vloeren, chef-koks keuken, grote buitenruimtes en een garage voor 3 wagens.

Er is een wasmachine en droger in de unit en het huis is uitgerust met Highspeed 450mg WiFi, uitgebreide kabel-tv met sport- en filmpakket en 8 beveiligingscamera's. Op internet aangesloten tv's met netflix, Amazon-video en topfilm-apps. Het landgoed is ideaal voor gezinnen of grote groepen met een garage voor 3 wagens en extra parkeergelegenheid op straat.

De eerste verdieping van het hoofdhuis heeft een extra grote woonkamer met 14 'plafonds en een 16' schuifregelaar die toegang geeft tot een goed uitgeruste patio en entertainmentzone. De eerste slaapkamer heeft een 55 "Samsung 4K tv, kingsize bed en groot bad met extra grote dubbele regendouche. De grote woonkamer is voorzien van een grote sofa met een 75 "Samsung 4K tv en audio voor het hele huis voor al uw entertainmentbehoeften. De tweede verdieping is de thuisbasis van de twee secundaire slaapkamers. De eerste is voorzien van een queensize bed met verduisterende tinten, 55 "Samsung 4K wifi-tv en een grote kast met ingebouwde planken. De 2e slaapkamer heeft een tweepersoons queensize stapelbed, 55 "Samsung 4k wifi tv, grote kast met ingebouwde planken. De slaapkamers boven delen een complete badkamer met bad en douche. De tweede woonkamer bevindt zich op de 2e verdieping met een west iep Trundle slaapbank die uitgetrokken kan worden om twee personen op verschillende niveaus te slapen als twee tweelingen. Er is een 55 "Samsung 4K wifi-tv, een entertainmentcentrum en spelletjes voor de kinderen (Wii U en bordspellen).

De tweede woning op het terrein is een moderne woning met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers met 14 'plafonds en een 16' schuifregelaar die uitkomt op de oase voor buitenentertainment, compleet met vuurplaats en buitenluidsprekers. De slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed, een eigen terras, een complete badkamer met inloop dubbele regendouche en inloopkast met ingebouwde planken. De tweede slaapkamer heeft drie stapelbedden voor 6 personen met een grote kast en een aangrenzende ligbad met bad en douche. De woonkamer keuken is voorzien van bar hoogte tafel, luxe moderne Mitchell Gold / Bob Williams lederen slaapbank, 65 "internet-tv en in wandluidsprekers.

Een van de mooiste moderne landgoederen in het centrum van Austin, het pand is 6 blokken naar het Frank Erwin Center, het UT voetbalstadion en het UT honkbalstadion.

Rainey Street ligt op slechts enkele minuten (ongeveer anderhalve kilometer) ten zuiden van het pand en is bekleed met eetgelegenheden en bars zoals de Javalina Bar en Lustre Pearl. Het East Side Cafe, Salty Sow, Dai Due en andere populaire eetgelegenheden op Manor rd Restaurant Row liggen op slechts enkele minuten ten noorden van het huis, terwijl Blue Dahlia Bistro, Hillside Farmacy, Old Thousand, Quickie Pickie, Franklins BBQ en East Side Pies een blok ten zuiden liggen .

We stayed in this house last weekend with a group of 11 guys. There was plenty of room to sleep and kick back. House was very clean and comfortable. Pool and spa were great amenity. Walking distance to UT baseball game and quick 5 min uber to 6th street. Bonus is there is a small liquor store right next door so very convenient to pick up beer and snacks. The host, Brooks, was great and really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. 5 stars and would definitely be back!

The property is in a rough neighborhood. It is close to many places, however, you have to pass some scary parts, so walking is not exactly safe. There was a man in a home across the street in his front yard on day one yelling constantly and a woman who was screaming to herself at midnight for 2 nights in a row. When we got there, one of the garage doors would only open halfway. The dishwasher in the back house never worked. The garbage disposal in both houses wouldn't work initially. Thankfully Ronaldo came and got the garage door to work, got us in the back house and reset the switch to get the garbage disposal to work in the front house. The heat in the front house wouldn't come on at first because it had to be synced with the thermostat upstairs within 2 degrees. I have a whole list: Toilets wouldn't flush well 2 Toilet seats broken Water upstairs never got over lukewarm Outdoor games thrown all over the yard Breaker for the dishwasher in guest unit is permanently flipped. They tried to flip it and it would flip back. No can opener no cutting knives in guest unit no trash can is guest master bedroom The coffee pot would not work initially. They did replace it. The lock on the doors were warning of a low battery in both houses. We called and were told it should still have some life left, however the front house app lock eventually wouldn't open and hod to be manually opened. We also were not informed of how the handle on the gate had to be positioned or how to block the code pad until we spoke to Ronaldo, We spent far too much time on the phone with people to fix things. It dug into our time for sightseeing and spending quality time with our family.

The property is very cool. 2 houses with a modern feel. There are a few things here and there that need maintenance or didn't work as one would expect, but for us it wasn't an issue. The team over at Black opal was great. Yen was available by phone all weekend and very helpful. This is definitely a great spot for a weekend hang and very close to the city.

Went for a long weekend on a guys trip. Neighborhood is a little worn down but the house is amazing. It’s actually two houses with a very modern concept. We loved exploring Austin but spent a ton of time hanging at the house. Love having the Sonos speakers throughout as well.

This place was perfect for our group of 13 friends. Location is ideal and a very short Uber/like scooter away from great bars and restaurants. Space was more than enough for all of us to relax and gather comfortably. The dual kitchens are a huge bonus if you’re cooking a large meal. Only issue was that the hot tub was ice cold when we got there but the host was very responsive and quick to help us out. Would stay here again.

We were 13 guys and there was plenty of space for all of us. Brooks offered us early and late checkout (for a fee) and was willing to accommodate our every need. He was very responsive and the house was comfortable. The neighborhood is sketchy as heck but we didn’t have any issues. A sacrifice worth making for being so close to downtown in a house that size.

I've stayed multiple times at this beautiful property... every time it is SUPER CLEAN... and organized... this time one of the guys left a pair of jeans in one of the dressers after we checked out... the property manager coordinated with us and went out of his way to make sure we got it back... Much Appreciated!

This property is perfect for enjoying time with a group. It’s located near plenty of delicious cafes and eateries and is very close to downtown Austin (but far enough away that you get a great nights sleep). The owner and property manager are super helpful and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!

This property manager should be removed from the VRBO platform. It took months to get him to accept payments in advance of a large group gathering, where he consistently neglected communications giving. Numerous times he failed to process correct payment details and he even attempted multiple reoccurring payments which were luckily denied by my banking institution. Needless to say, this gave me great anxiety leading up to our stay, as I was worried our reservations were not solid. Three weeks prior to the groups stay, as local public health officials issued the highest elevated risk due to COVID spread and max capacity hospitals, the manager agreed to a refund over the phone with a representative from VRBO, after I called because I couldn't reach him. After I inquired about the status of the refund to VRBO, the manager sent an inappropriate and nonsensical email, stating that conditions in Austin were normal for months and that the media was to blame, despite local public health officials warnings. In using vacation stay platforms for over a decade, this is by far the most lazy, unethical and inconsiderate property manager I have encountered.

We had a great time celebrating a bachelor party for the weekend. The place is great to stay for a large group because there are plenty of beds and bathrooms, while having the space to not feel crammed and activities to do outside around the pool. The representative is very responsive to all questions you may have. You are only a short 10 min uber away from any popular spot in Austin. Definitely would recommend to people planning a weekend celebration.

We were happy with the property and its location in regards to all Austin has to offer. Only issues were the outdoor speakers were inaudible. We were told this is to not disturb the neighbors and to listen to our own speaker. This should be advertised because we didn’t bring a speaker and with all the outdoor activities offered, music would have been nice. Most of the ceiling fan remotes had dead batteries and the hot tub controls were broken. The front “gate door” was also broken. All in all, we were happy with the place. Great layout for a large group and the owner was very responsive to all our questions.

How itself is gorgeous with lots of space and high end finishes. The layout is perfect for groups. It’s clearly rented out to lots of young groups like ourselves so there’s a lot of wear and tear on the property (outside furniture is banged up, some things are a little less than spotless), but the property worked for us nonetheless. Also, be aware that paying for early check-in does not mean the property will be ready to go by 12pm, it just means you can access the property by 12pm but the cleaners will still be working (this was not clear to us and we had to wait around on the patio for 2-3hrs while the cleaners finished up inside)

Overall the house was excellent! We dad a group of 13 friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. The property is just as advertised - basically two entirely separate houses connected by a great courtyard with pool/firepit/garage/etc. House has basically every amenity you would need and then some, plus no shortage of instagrammable "moments" through the property. If you're looking to swim laps, this isn't the pool for you, but it's a great spot for lounging and hanging out with friends. Neighborhood is still developing, but the location is great - easily walkable/scooterable/Uber-able to anywhere you'd want to be within minutes. Only downside to speak of was communication. You are clearly dealing with a property management company vs. the actual property owner. The check-in process in particular was frustrating...it was enough paperwork to think I was actually buying the house vs. renting it for a weekend. I had to ask several times to get the actual door codes to get in which led to us sitting outside the house in 85 degree, humid weather with a bunch of groceries for almost 30 minutes waiting to be able to get into the house. Once we finally got the code, the door didn't work and thankfully one of the property management employees showed up and got us in. Also took until halfway through the trip to get instructions on how to actually use the hot tub, which required downloading an app. Wouldn't have been as frustrating except they were more than happy to communicate with us about the mimosa/bloody mary bar they offer and all the different upcharges we would incur for any littany of different items - extra guests, pets, late check-out, leaving the hot tub on overnight, etc. etc. To be fair, I think a lot of these items were one-off issues that wouldn't necessarily be recurring things that future groups would have to deal with. Overall, the house was great and would still wholeheartedly recommend to any group.

We had 15 people and everyone had a bed, great layout for a large group. Clean when we arrived, but an unusual amount of flies in the house. Several fixtures were broken, but workable. Good proximity to Austin, but a rough neighborhood- we were approached more than once outside by someone asking for money.
