Prachtig (groot!) Historisch Downtown House - 100 jaar oude GEM in de stad

KAN DEZE LOCATIE NIET DOEN - Een zeldzaam juweeltje - ervaar de stad als een local. Gebouwd in 1907, het is een van de grootste historische huizen die nog in de super hippe East Side van Austin staan. Midden in het centrum, op slechts 2 blokken van Rainey Street, coffeeshops, restaurants, wandel- / joggingpaden en Town Lake, is dit zorgvuldig gerestaureerde huis een rustige oase met ruimte om te spreiden. Perfect voor groepen. 100 jaar oude houten vloeren, uitgestrekte portieken, originele scheepsmuren, vintage details ... het is uniek!

Volledig gerestaureerd en gerenoveerd: 5 slaapkamers, 3 badkamers, veel eetruimte en overdekte portieken zowel voor als achter het huis. Pecan bomen schaduw de werven, en een aangepaste moderne omheining onderhoudt privacy rond het hele pand. Achtertuin heeft basketbal, maïs gat en ladder bal. Tafelvoetbal binnenshuis.

SLAAPKAMERS

Dit is onze THUIS, en het is ontworpen voor comfort.

BR 5 - Twee queensize bedden, plus een uittrekbare slaapbank, plus een extra vloermatras (het beste voor een paar kinderen).
Gemeenschappelijke ruimte: Futon bank

Drie extra IKEA dubbele matrassen kunnen overal worden gebruikt. Er is ruimte in elk van de slaapkamers met kingsize bed of de slaapkamer met blauw / groen boven om een extra matras op de vloer te plaatsen.


KEUKEN
Het is volledig gevuld met potten, pannen, kookgerei, etc. We hebben geen voorraad pantry items (voedsel, specerijen, etc. voor gasten). U moet deze zelf opgeven.)

HEET WATER
Een boiler zonder tank betekent dat u nooit zonder warm water komt te zitten. Hoera!

BATHROOMS
Het huis heeft 3 badkamers en voldoende handdoeken.

BUITEN
De buitenruimtes zijn mijn favoriete kenmerk van dit huis. We hebben heel veel tuinspellen om te delen, waaronder maïskolf, pingpong, ladderworp en basketbal. Schaduwrijke portieken kunnen een groep verspreiden en genieten van het prachtige weer in Texas.

Absoluut geen feestjes. Dit is ons huis (niet alleen een huurhuis), dus help ons om het te regelen. Iedereen moet zich houden aan de stadsregels, inclusief de avondklok van 22:00 uur.

We houden van onze buren, en we houden van onze buurt. We willen het zo houden. Houd het geluid binnenshuis.

Excellent property for a girls weekend

The home is perfect for a weekend with friends. It was well stocked with everything we needed, plenty of bedrooms and great outdoor space off the kitchen--and the location was convenient for us to either walk or take a short Uber ride. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for Groups!

We stayed at Shannon's house for a bachelorette and it was PERFECT- location, amenities, layout, the works. Her home is beautifully decorated and outfitted with everything you'd need for a weekend away. Walkable to Lady Bird Trail, Juiceland, Target, Bars, Coffee and more. Would 100% stay here again!

Thanksgiving in Austin

This really is a charming historic house in Downtown Austin. We were a family of 8 ranging in age from 31 to 70 from around the country meeting for Thanksgiving. There are plenty of bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, and the location was great. We were able to explore much of the city -- mostly on foot -- from this spot. Highly recommend!

Perfect Bachelorette House

We had the BEST stay for my sister’s bachelorette. We were a group of 14 girls and felt comfortable and safe the entire time. The home is massive and has great common areas both inside and outside for the group. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, with 3 bedrooms conjoining to each other (which was a lot of fun for the girls group!) The house is a safe walking distance to Rainey Street, which we only did during the day, and a short Uber/Fetii to all other popular locations. The host Shannon is extremely accommodating and communicative! She allowed us to drop our luggage super early and then come back to decorate prior to check in time while she finished preparing the home. The extra decorations left behind were also a big hit! The house has everything you need: from extra tape to sharpies to a ton of dishware. I highly recommend this property for your next group trip!

A great Friendsgiving in austin

We are 3 friends who went to college together and then moved to different parts of the country. We reunited with our families for a few days during the thanksgiving break. The house was spacious, comfortable and clean. Lots of room for groups to hang out in lots of spaces. We especially loved hanging around the fire pit! Highly recommend!

Great for Bachelorettes!

Overall we had a great stay. Positives: Bachelorette drawer with extra supplies!! Lots of space and seating. Comfortable beds. Excellent communication from the host. Really fun outdoor space - though admittedly we did not take advantage because it was so hot. Negatives: There were not parking permits so we had to find street parking which was hit or miss. There were a lot of homeless people in the area so it wasn't as walkable as we were hoping.

Had a great time! plenty of room for 12 of us. clean and kitchen was stocked full. we only wish it was closer to town. Did have to uber everywhere which they did come in a few min every time so wasn't a big deal. Had lots of great memories!

Family trip to Austin

We visited Austin for a wedding and since we had mix of ages with our guest we wanted to stay closer to downtown for restaurants and things to do, and this property was perfect for that! We loved that it was a historical style home but updated and functional. We traveled with little ones ranging from 9 months to 3 years old and there was plenty of space and the home felt safe for our group. The back deck was so nice to hang out and eat as a group. We loved this rental so much, if we go back to Austin we will definitely be returning!

My team stayed here for a team offsite. It was wonderful to have this big space for meetings, breakfast, and sunset drinks. The space is beautiful also and Shannon was incredibly responsive and helpful! Hope to be back next year!

Awesome stay!

I stayed here with a group of 10 women (all in our 40s) for our annual girls trip. The house is fantastic, plenty of room for all of us, and just a very unique, historic home. The location is also great, super close to downtown if you don’t mind walking or a short karaoke-cab ride away. Yes they have karaoke-cabs here! Shannon was very responsive the few times we had a question and the house is well-stocked with anything you need. Would definitely stay again!

The best rental experience I have ever had!

I cannot say enough good things about this home. Firstly, Shannon is amazing. So communicative and kind. Second, the house was exactly like the listing and even better in person. There’s a “pay it forward” mentality with the home where previous bachelorettes left behind decor and favors to use and we were so excited to be able to do the same. Truly, this house is so perfect. The beds are the most comfortable beds, the house is decorated beautifully, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. I cannot recommend this home enough!!!!

Great communication with property manager! House had plenty of room and was very cozy. A couple of minor issues (garbage not being picked up and no where for us to toss garbage, and a leak in the bathroom), but we managed and Shannon was great in helping to accommodate us!
