'Toen ik wilde inchecken om 1915 was er helaas niemand aanwezig. Na het bellen van het nummer werd ik 10 minuten later geholpen door twee hele aardige en behulpzame mensen. Ik kreeg een kamer upgrade, kingsize met balkon. Een ruime en schone kamer. Hotel ligt op een fijne centrale plek in Avalon met alle voorzieningen op loopafstand. '

'beautiful hotel, I do wish the fan was working but they could have been user error. the bathroom is spacious and the kitchen cones fully equipped with necessary pots/pan, plates and utensils. I will be staying here again. '

'Me and my parents stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The views were stunning. Looking down from the hilltop, you can see the Avalon town and the coastline stretching out. Inside, the suite beautifully captures Pueblo-style architecture, and you can really feel the history of the place, knowing it was once home to Zane Grey. 'Great views. Beautiful main suite. Close to restaurants and town. Loved the sunk in tub. Plenty of towels and paper products.Only negative was the walk to the place. Their neighbor has the most unappealing hoarding area that smells like pee when it rains.'
