'Amazing little gem in East Texas!! We had a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing 5 days here. The cabin was beautiful with the live edge pine and cedar on the walls. The hosts were very welcoming, kind, and thoughtful. They went out of their way to make sure our trip was an enjoyable one and we had everything we needed. The baked treats were delicious. 'Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. 'There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. '

'This is a jewel of a place to relax and enjoy the country life. We knew we were going to love it from the minute we pulled in the long driveway. Each morning we had breakfast on the side patio and watched the ducks on the pond. The facilities provide everything you could need for your stay. The master bedroom is comfortable, cool, and best of all dark. It was so nice to just sit back and listen to birds while reading and sitting under the pergola. Plenty of places to walk.
