'Very nice room with comfortable bed. Stayed in executive room, but proper desk to work on his missing!!!. Could not find a way to turn heating off. Restaurant: We had dinner with four, Food mediocre, different wine served than the one ordered so overall not up to standard.'

'This is our second stay at the Talbot, first was late summer 2024. Atm, the pub part of the hotel is closed and meals were not offered. Local gossip said the hotel was being used for asylum/immigrants, I saw no evidence of this and the clients seemed to be mostly couples and businesses. Dad and I stayed in a twin room, it had a large shower, no bath, desk, tv (not in hotel mode so streaming stick was easy to use), slightly larger than sister’s double. WiFi was good in the room and handled...
