'Easy to find, just off the A38 towards Bristol. The area surrounding pub is quite busy, as the pub is in a busy village centre. It’s also not a quint essential country pub, it’s a busy local hub. The staff were great from start to finish, really friendly and chatty, made us feel right at home. We chose the pub due to its location within walking distance to the Thatchers Brewery (30mins). It was an easy straightforward walk. The room was bright, clean and spacious. It had everything we need....

'Take care about what type of room you book! They don't make this clear on their website, but... We booked two rooms for quite some money and when we arrived it turned out that we had to share a bathroom with the whole floor! by the way, this bathroom had a carpet?! Very nasty if many people use the shower in one morning... Rooms are small and windows can not open. which makes the place smell like grandmothers attic...'

'Absolutely fantastic stay, sparkling clean and spacious room, stayed in the coach house, well maintained and comfy room. Had food in restaurant and Alfredo was a gracious host. All staff very friendly and looked after me being on my own. Will definitely be staying again and going to visit restaurant.'

'De eigenaren zijn super aardig en geven na aankomst uitleg over de stad en wat er in de regio allemaal te zien is. Niets is te veel moeite en, tegen bijbetaling, kregen we een exceptioneel goed ontbijt. Het bed sliep erg lekker, al hadden we (met de ramen open) nogal wat verkeerslawaai in de kamer'
