'The villa was good, a lot of space and well equipped. Communication was completely via email, which is a bit anonymous. We didn’t have any problems, but I don’t know how it would have worked out only via email if there were one. Quite complicated to get transport for non Japanese people. '

'This is a beautiful old house, in a very pretty area. If you enjoy Japanese architecture this is a great place to stay. Our host went out of his way to make sure we felt accommodated and offered to take us to the beach and and drop us to the train station. '

'The property is a historic residence converted for hospitality. It's lovingly restored with modern facilities comfortable for westerners while still feeling like you're in historic Japan. The owners were amazing with coordination and really friendly. Would definitely go back and would stay longer next time!'
