Una scelta TOP ad Aya Napa
Struttura enorme e nuovissima con camere non gigantesche ma confortevoli e pulitissime. Vicinissimo alle spiagge di Macronissos e Nissi (il top ad Aya Napa) e dotato di uno splendido solarium con una grande piscina. Lo staff è molto cortese e disponibile ed i prezzi assolutamente onesti... siamo stati davvero bene!! Il centro di Aya Napa si raggiunge in 5 minuti di auto.

Disappointing
During the first 12 hours of my stay I was already thinking how I would give this hotel a 5 star review. However by the time the next 12 hours came around I was fuming and decided I would give it a 1 star review. I booked a superior family room with double bed + 2 single beds and/or bed settee. However I was allocated a double bed only. Initially this was fine because when I opened the balcony door and saw the massive balcony area overlooking the pool/sea/landscape WITH jacuzzi/hot tub I was over the moon. Thinking that I must have been upgraded made me really happy. However I couldn't figure how to switch it on so called reception who informed me that as I hadn't 'BOOKED' that room there would be a charge of 40 EUROS - this was at around 5pm. I told them that no I hadn't booked that room, but they had allocated it to me, presumably because they didn't have any superior family rooms available. Obviously I was really disappointed. Oh and to add insult to injury they charged me 30 EUROS tourist tax instead of 3 EUROS and I only realised once I got home.

Vinter ferie
Februar måned er alt lukket omkring hotellet/byen. Indendørs svømmehal er ikke opvarmet og er lukket, sauna er ikke tændt. Morgen mad er dårlig, udvalg er meget lidt. Der er ikke noget at lave på hotellet for børne familier.

Very disappointed, a 3-star hotel, not 4-star.
The hotel doesn't hold a standard of a 4-star hotel. The food was not tasty, with bad choice both for breakfast and dinner. The service was average. We chose this hotel mainly because of the fantastic reviews, and when we got there we simply couldn't understand who wrote all those reviews... The pillows were very hard, the cleaning of the room was average. The thing that annoyed me most was a constant sound in the room (came probably from the ventilation), like some kind of a motor working all the time. I couldn't sleep because of that sound. We were also bothered by the sound of entertainment in the evening. The entertainment was also poor. A few things for kids started at 21 which was too late. Our kids were already sleeping at that time. So all in all, I would't recommend this hotel.

Looks and feels brand new
Great hotel located outside the party areas of Nappa. Short walk to some great beaches. Only down side was the lack of available sun loungers around the pool as half the area is dedicated to premium sun loungers which come with an extra charge. The free loungers had been " towel claimed " well before the pool opened despite this practice being clearly forbidden in the hotel room info booklet. Great choice at breakfast and friendly helpful staff

Vi anbefaler Amethyst
Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse at bo på Amethyst. Hotellet er moderne, poolområdet er skønt, interiøret i god stand og personalet er virkelig servicemindede og smilende. God morgenmadsbuffet. Eneste minus er afstanden til centrum, betød dog ikke så meget for os da transportmuligheder var fine. Kan varmt anbefales.

This hotel is almost brand new, it's only in its second season. It's right at the outskirts of Ayia Napa so its far from the center but this also means it's very quiet in the area. The rooms are great modern and comfy. We went there for a couple of nights right before they close for winter. There were a few things that need maintenance and we contacted the reception but I am sure everything will be perfect with the new season next year. The breakfast is great and you really get what you pay for. This is not a big hotel by the way. It's definitely on our "come back" list some time in the future, we had a great time.

God og flot hotel, beliggenhed helt perfekt
Hotellet var ret nyt og flot. Beliggenhed er perfekt for os der kan lide stille og roligt kvarter. Ayia Napa ligger 10min bustur hvis man vil komme til stedet hvor alt sker, og det koster kun 1.50 €. Nissi Beach er kun 15min gåtur væk. Den tætteste strand er ca 5min gåtur. Supermarked og restauranter ligger lige udenfor hotellet. Vil helt klart anbefale hotellet.

We have given the rating just 3, there were cost add-on's that were not mentioned, i.e room safe, use only if you pay....no face cloths, we had to buy one, it also mentions dry cleaning/laundry service indicating you could have shirts etc cleaned, but it turned out you had to do your own. Breakfast was ok but the emphasis was on English breakfast, personally we would have liked more Mediterranean items, it was the same everyday. However, the lunch was excellent, large variety and lots of it. Pool was good except there were no life-guards and only two life-buoys. In general, this was a very clean hotel with extremely helpful staff.

The hotel is very clean and its has nice luxury design. But, you have to pay 2€ for the pool towel and another 10€ for the “luxury” sunbed. That’s unacceptable because since you pay to stay in the hotel, they should have included and all these in the price.

Amethyst Napa Hotel Family stay
Nice quiet location not far from Ayia Napa central area about 10 minutes with a car. Close to Makronisos beach. It's a new hotel so everything was clean and in good condition. Enough parking in the hotel. The staff was friendly but not experianced in general. Did not clean the room the first day and they change towels every 2 days. Pool towels cost 2 euro every time you change them. Also you have to pay 8euro deposit for each towel which is refundable. Food is ok and not very expensive. We had a pleasant stay in this hotel but I think they can do more for a 4 star hotel.

Excellent hotel; very new, rooms were of an extremely high quality and the beach is around a ten minute walk away. There is a shop across the road which sells everything you need for a holiday, and the hotel features an inclusive buffet which was fantastic quality. Nice and quiet at night as on the outskirts of Ayia Napa. If you're all inclusive you get access to a great pool area and spa too. I cannot fault Amethyst and I would definitely return in future.
