'B&B ligt aan drukke straat aan de rand van Ayr (niet te lopen). Geen ontvangst, maar notitie in hal. Ook later wordt je niet begroet. Kamer en badkamer ok. Goed ontbijt, maar eigenaren afstandelijk. Restaurants op 20 min wandelen in Prestwick.'

'Comfortable room with nice shower room and spotlessly clean. Tasty food and excellent service in the restaurant. Right on the seafront with lots of parking'

'We had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and both the rooms and communal seating areas were clean and well maintained.'

'This hotel was a great stop on our Scottish adventure! Rooms were clean and exactly as advertised. The restaurant on site was delicious. They had slow service in the evening, but the breakfast was perfect!'

'Prima hotel, goed eten en vriendelijk personeel. '

'The Townhouse bed & breakfast was beautiful and welcoming the moment we walked up to the beautiful garden. The wife and husband hosts were fantastic, the room was elegant and cozy. The made to order breakfast was 5 star, prepared by the owner who is a professional chef. Only wished we had spent more time in the beautiful B&B.'

'Perfectly clean unit. The communication was great, got answer straight away! We also found free car park nearby that’s a bonus. Thanks so much!'

'Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well.'

'We wanted to cancel as our 10-day sailing trip from Troon was cancelled. No one from the hotel nor Expedia was willing to help nor cooperate.'

'Rooms where clean and well maintained. Sadly food was poor, we ate in the restaurant on the first evening, one meal was over cooked while my lamb was very chewey. Breakfast on day 2 was poor, they said it would be cooked to order but it looked and tasted like it had come from the buffet they had just cleared from a coach party. The staff were variable some abrupt and others went through the motions but werent enjoying their jobs??!'
