'Petite semaine dans un joli moulin. Le vent était présent, normal c'est un moulin. Moulin trés joliment rénové, magnifique piscine et vue. Tres au calme. Nous y sommes allés à 3 avec un enfant de 7 ans. A 2 adultes c'est plus adapté. Semaine sympa, et accueil super.'

'I have to praise the owner of the house for his kindness and reactivity. The house is very big (much more than the pictures sugggest). That was a very nice surprise for us. The house is very well equipped, all you need for a stay is there. The view in the ocean is nice, the yard is very pleasant, and the trampoline was a great plus for my kids. The location is perfect: 55 mn to lisboa, 45 mn to Nazaré, 10 mn to a free parking beach, 10 mn to supermarkets where you can find all you need. I...

'Lovely house, lagoon area has breeze even at height of summer in August. Good base, Obidos, 20 mins away, is a medieval town with very impressive castle. Beautiful buildings with local artists selling paintings and prints, plenty of good restaurants. Lisbon is an hour away. A car is essential to get around, as the house is situated up a forested hill above lagoon. Excellent walks and runs around the lagoon, which is only 15 mins away by foot. Lots of activities available, we opted for kayaks...

'We loved this house - really big and spacious with everything you might need and a beautiful pool and garden. João was the perfect host and greeted us on arrival (with an amazing cake). The house is well positioned for day trips to Lisbon, Cascais and the wild Atlantic coast including the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Obidos is absolutely lovely - especially in the evenings and mornings - be sure to walk the castle walls and enjoy the nice restaurants.
