'We had such a good time at the River Lodge! When we pulled into the parking lot, we weren't sure what we had gotten ourselves into, but once we entered the gate, it was like an oasis. The pool is beautiful, the restaurant was good, and the room was very comfortable. We had a nice mattress and pillows, soft towels, a fireplace, and a smart TV. We will be staying there again on our next trip to Paso Robles. '

'Easily the best sub-$200 hotel I've stayed at in a long time. Very clean. Really comfortable bed. But most importantly, it smelled great. Most hotels in this range in recent years have either musty or chlorinated smells, or lingering weed smells. This smelled really nice. Thoroughly recommend. '

'The hotel itself is new and really nice. Beds are super comfortable. But the highlight was the staff. Everyone we interacted with at the front desk was just fantastic! Wasn't able to eat at the hotel but the menu looks great. Will definitely be back to try the food. '

'I love the everything. My only suggestion is there should be accessible drinking water not just inside the gymn. Bfast was great especially the waffle. Staff are very nice and accommodating. '

'Immaculate and friendly staff. The room was dated, but this is an old motel. The bed was comfy, the pillows were great, the shower was strong. There is nothing fancy at all about this place, but it's homey and very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.'
