'A group of us wanted to plan a ski get away in Cape Breton after all of our snow! Only 10 minutes from the hill, we had a fabulous stay at John & Anne’s place. The house is a unique style with stunning ocean views. The house had all the amenities you would need. Communication was quick and easy. We will definitely plan another trip back. 'We had a lovely stay in this rustic Cape Breton cottage! The building itself is quite old, and shows its character. It was good for three people, but would be tight for a family or larger group. There's no direct beach access, but it's a 2 minute drive away (or less), and the water was beautiful. Note that any major shopping or necessities will have to be gotten in Sydney, about half an hour away, so plan for that. 'This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside.'

'I only stayed here for one night, but it was a very peaceful stay. The location was perfect for a view of the sunset. Unfortunately the night I was there was too cloudy to see it, but the stay was still worth everything else. The room and amenities were very well kept and cozy to stay in. I even walked a short trail that led to a brook (Sally’s Brook) that I don’t think had another access point. I would love to stay here again.'

'Great place and location. Included golf was excellent. Hard to just go for a walk from the property as it was a busy road but in town for walk wasn’t far to drive. Baddeck had everything you needed and the whole Cabot Trail was there to explore as well. Unfortunate that we had Hurricane Lee come through and the weather was not stellar but made the most of it and it could have been much worse if we were in the direct Hurricane path.'

'Such a great romantic atmosphere, very cozy and perfect for a romantic getaway!! View was breathtaking and lights going to the cabin were such a special touch!Property manager Lisa was great at communicating before /during and after stay!
