'In the hotel books my pre payment was not found so I had to pay at the hotel a sum of Rs.4500/ can you please check my accts and refund if I had double paid '

'They had no record of our reaction (that we had paid confirmation through hotels.com. They charged us cash to get a room. (Options in the area and time we arrived extremely limited). Had to try and negotiate an 11 check out at 9 suggested he wanted us out by 10 (place had no other guests). Very noisey all night'

'The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride . The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue. I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella.'

'We had a wonderful stay! The view of the Nine Arch Bridge and jungle was so beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was really good, too! The complimentary tuk-tuk service to and from the main road to the accommodation was especially appreciated given the steep and narrow road. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we would happily recommend!'

'a lovely boutique hotel with amazing staff & good breakfast'

'We stayed at this amazing property for 3 days as a group of four and had a wonderful experience. The mountain views from our room were stunning, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet had limited spread, but everything was delicious. The approach road can be a bit tricky, with a steep, narrow downhill stretch that accommodates only one car at a time. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property!'

'Perfect stay in a more quiet area of Ella. You will be in the center shortly. The best thing about our stay was the excellent breakfast served on our private balcony with an amazing view. If we ever come back to Ella again…. This is the place we will stay!'

'The room was spotless, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were lovely! I'll be sure to drop by again! '

'De kamer is in orde en heel mooi uitzicht vanuit de kamer. De service was teleurstellend, net zoals de faciliteiten buiten de kamer. Zwak ontbijt.

'Hele leuke plek, met vriendelijke bediening, mooie omgeving'

'The room was excellent. Had everything I needed. Only thing I would add is an additional plug socket to the room. Melani was phenomenal from the start and throughout, she went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and Melani checked what I wanted and even accommodated things like getting low fat options, which she didn’t need to do. The star of this hotel besides the staff is the view from the balcony! Looking out onto Ella was lovely,...

'You get a homelike feel .'

'Breakfast cold at 9 am, no roomcleaning, bad management. Nice swimming pool, nice view, lot of stairs.'

'We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, catered to our needs very effectively'

'Very nice to stay! Highly recommend.'
