The rooms are starting to be slightly rundown, for example the sliding balcony door fell out of its railing and the shower was not very warm. The balcony itself did not have any views and was surrounded by walls, but there are other rooms that have a nice view of the surrounding pine forest. No breakfast included but can be added for a hefty amount. The price is high, certainly if you consider the lack of breakfast and slightly...

'The room was spacious and clean! We also had a beautiful mountain view, it was amazing to wake up to it in the morning. The lamphouse is right in the heart of Canmore, close to restaurants, shopping boutiques, and more. The staff were very accommodating as well. We asked if we could leave our car after the 11 a.m. checkout, and they kindly allowed us to park until 4 p.m. Overall, a great stay!'

'The property is all good and quiet (except the cooker is faulty). It is walkable distance to the market and parks, although it can get really busy with traffic. The room is clean, relaxing - there’s hot water in the shower but it doesn’t last long, it gets cold before you even finish showering. No lift to go up to your room nor down, so if you have lots of luggage it’s a struggle, especially if your room is on the top, and stuff won’t help to take your belongings upstairs so be prepared for...
