'Avoid!
I stayed in a single room on the second floor of this pub. The room was very tired/shabby and in desperate need of a deep clean. Old carpet fraying around the edges, dirty splashes up the wall, etc. Sloping, creaking floor.
The mattress was old and uncomfortable - springs dig into you all night. I’m always wary of non-white towels and bed linen as cleanliness is never as good - it’s dark grey towels here and grey bed linen. Thin pillows and duvet. And the TV didn’t work.

'Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good.'

'Lovely room with great bathroom. A bath and separate shower was a treat. Plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. WiFi was good and nice decor. Staff were pleasant and was lovely to be able to converse Welsh. Location was handy for lots of places to visit. Defo hope to be back'
