    Rose Cottage biedt veel plaatsen om te ademen in serene Bald Head Island uitzicht op de oceaan! Van de schommelstoelen op de veranda tot de tafel en stoelen van het scherm naar de Adirondacks op het bovenste balkon, dit uitnodigende huisje met vier slaapkamers en vier badkamers in High Dunes is perfect voor diegenen die ontspanning zoeken ... en nu dichter bij het strand met de onlangs toegevoegd toegangspunt South Beach aan de overkant van de weg.

    Rose Cottage beschikt over een mooie, lichte keuken met veel toogruimte, roestvrijstalen apparatuur en een dubbele wastafel. De open plattegrond kunt u kijken naar de ruime eetzaal, met een tafel die comfortabel stoelen acht. Eet hier of op het scherm veranda genieten van uitzicht op de oceaan.

    Voorbij het eetgedeelte is de lichte, ruime zitruimte, verankerd door een gashaard. Dit is de perfecte plek voor een gezinsgesprek of comfortabel films kijken. Er zijn ook twee slaapkamers op dit niveau. De ene is ingericht met een queensize bed en biedt directe toegang tot de veranda en een eigen badkamer. De tweede heeft een dubbel uitschuifbed en is perfect voor kleine kinderen of als babykamer.

    Twee extra slaapkamers zijn boven zich, een met een queen bed en de andere met twee tweepersoonsbedden. Beide hebben directe toegang tot de veranda, evenals een eigen badkamer baden. Een extra slaapkamer, met een eigen badkamer, bevindt zich in de privé-crofter.

    Veel spelletjes, boeken en plezier wachten op je in Rose Cottage. Inbegrepen in uw huur zijn internettoegang en twee vierpersoons golfkarretjes. (Lidmaatschappen van BHI Club en Shoals Club zijn beschikbaar voor extra kosten.) Bovendien zijn de huurlasten van onze huizen inclusief schoonmaakkosten, schadeverzekeringen en onze hulppost voor Property Manager, die u kunt waarderen als uw airconditioning in het weekend uit gaat of u na 17:00 uur een golfkar heeft.

Reviewer Comments: This was our second time at this house and we were very pleased we picked it again! Oven was broken but management brought in a replacement toaster oven as soon as we let them know. Owner needs to update their beach chairs and beach accessories...management again promptly brought us some good beach chairs. I think the house could be updated a bit but it was okay for a week. Golf carts run and get you where you need to go but they are not pretty to look at! It is hard to get them in the garage b/c it isn't a 2 golf cart garage. We had a great time. It was clean and the kitchen had good pans and dishes. Washer and dryer and dishwasher ran well. Wendy Wilmont is johnny-on-the-spot with what you need and made sure it was clean and we had what we needed. Thank you for everything! I hope we can come back again!

Would not rent Rose Cottage again. Except for the view from the second story balcony, only disappointment in this home. It was dirty, un-equipped as a rental, and is in need of repair and a deep cleaning. The day we arrived we removed our shoes when entering. It was the last time our shoes came off in the house. The first evening showering our feet were so black it looked like mud in the shower. The furniture is stained and worn and the carpets were nasty. The rental had two bikes for our use - one was broken. The kitchen - I had to wipe down the inside of the fridge before stocking. This rental house didn’t even have salt and pepper - be prepared to bring or buy everything. We love BHI, and will be back, but will not be renting or recommending this house to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. The house had a great layout for our group. Beds were comfortable, the view was lovely, and WWP was responsive! My only real complaint was that the kitchen could be better equipped. The nonstick pots & pans were in terrible shape with flaking and loose handles. There were no grill tools and other utensils were not in good shape. It also would have been nice to have more dish towels.

The Rose Cottage is very worn. Great location, but a lot of minor things that need attention. The cleanliness of the property, torn shower liner, no shower liner in the other bathroom. The door does lock, and bugs. It needs some TLC and is not worth the price it cost to rent it.

Rose Cottage is a good location and good layout. That said, it definitely needs some attention. There were sand spurs (OUCH!) in all mats in the house & in most bedroom carpets. We literally removed all mats from the house because they were providing more pain than help. This meant that sand easily got in the house. The carpet in the master bedroom has many stains.

We did have and issue with the water heater overcooking and ruining the staircase due to a lightning strike before we arrived. This necessitated repeated visits by maintenance folks, although all were pleasant and courteous. The strike knocked out a few TVs as well and we were without for the first few days. Our only non-temporary complaint was there isn't a recreation area for the kids separate from the main living area in case of a rain out day. This was a first trip to BHI for us and we thought it spectacular and will definitely be coming back!

We had an unexpected opportunity to stay at Rose Cottage and it couldn't have been more perfect for our family of adult children, spouses, and grand baby. The house was perfect and the view of ocean and sounds of waves....priceless as we enjoyed the deck and porches!! The screened in porch with large dining area was lovely for evening meals. We enjoyed the location on south beach with close proximity to the Market and Shoals Club as well as just a walk away from beach access. We had the BEST time and loved every minute of our family vacation week. Even with a couple special requests and a couple of minor repairs. Wendy Wilmot Property professionals pulled through with flying colors for our family.
