'A beautiful , historic home within walking distance of a charming village with scenic views and pedestrian trails. The innkeepers Jim and Phyllis are friendly and available. The rooms and sitting areas are spacious, beautifully decorated and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious both mornings with a sweet and a savory choice and always with fresh fruit that is in season. We highly recommend staying in this wonderful B&B when visiting central NY. '

'Breakfast was extremely limited to cereal, luke warm coffee, small amount of luke warm milk in a thermos for cereal and coffee, no decaf coffee and no hot water for tea. You could also choose from four white pieces of bread and four frozen waffles that were lying out on a clear plastic small shelf. 'The pool had a film on it but pool area was clean. The staff was out of the world. The hotel is under construction so there is some questionable things but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. The free breakfast wasn’t bad. '

'My daughter & I wanted to visit Skaneateles. Nightshade was just a 10-15 minute drive. Looks like 1950s motel from the road, but very cute, clean & well kept. Our room was as nice or even nicer than some upscale, expensive places I’ve stayed. Very clean, sleek & stylish. The bathroom was gorgeous! Looked recently remodeled. 'Never cleaned the room in 4 days, and got double billed. Have to wait and see if it is corrected. Hotel staff friendly. Limited breakfast. Too expensive for what you get.'

'De kamer was goed en het ontbijtbuffet was ook goed het hotel was goed maar ik raad niet aan van er te gaan slapen in een weekend ,er was lawaai na middernacht langer dan een half uur heb naar de desk gebeld en heb hun er attent op gemaakt maar helaas hebben ze er niet veel aan gedaan dat vond ik niet kunnen tegenover andere gasten dit is het enige negatieve puntje'

'Onderweg van Niagara Falls naar Boston handig tussenstop. Prima hotel met hele ruime kamers. Geen gebruik kunnen maken van zwembad ivm regen. Zeer behulpzaam personeel. Kleine ontbijt gelegenheid. '
