'Op de fotos lijkt het prachtig maar helaas is het in werkelijkheid niet zo super. Uiteraard prima geslapen en een hele beleving zo'n binnentuin maar daar is alles mee gezegd. Het is allemaal behoorlijk gedateerd, en ook best wat viezig en kapot.. Ontbijt was lekker en genoeg. '

'This place is hidden gem. Loved it so much we stayed another night. Close enough to the electric railway to give you easy access to the island.. There is NOT a lot going on in Laxey, but that exactly what we were looking for. if you just want to relax and get away. The shore hotel is a great spot'

'The breakfasts were amazing, a lot of choice, not just the usual standard british breakfast. The staff were very good. The owners was very helpful when we had a medical emergency. The hotel is well located with a short walk to Douglas beach and the shops within easy reach. The only drawback for us was the stairs. There were a lot of them up to our room and no lift, but apart from that we had a lovely stay.'

'Lovely hotel on the sea front. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Shops, restaurants, steam railway all within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks were a nice touch. Room was adequate for a 1 night stay, lovely bathroom & comfortable bed. Would return again and recommend to others'

'We booked a superior room with a sea view. It was everything you could want. The view over the water was superb. The fit out was great. The convenience to the ferry terminal was great as was the access to the bus. The breakfast basket was as comprehensive as we have ever had and satisfied our requirements excellently. As for Isle of Man, we did not know what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations, The steam train, the vintage electric railway, the train up the mountain and horse drawn...

'We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. '

'We rented a luxury apartment. It had a spacious living area with all you need for self catering. Housekeeper there to welcome us and show us to the room. Like the fact you can have your apartment serviced - clean towels etc. If you have a car there are reserved spaces out the back in the car park. Only negatives were the apartment we rented was on the top floor (three flights of stairs) - no lift. So with heavy baggage it’s hard work but not a real problem for us. Bedroom is very small and...
