'Stayed in different lodges in Brada Quarry, the lodges are amazing, spacious & all done to a high spec. Disappointed to find the log burning stove at Cowslip has been removed, for terrible electric fire'

'Prima hotel, op doorreis of als uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Kamer, badkamer en bedden waren goed. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, met vers fruit (aardbeiden, frambozen, blauwe bessen), yoghurt en ruime keuze in Engelse ontbijt-varianten met ei, bacon etc. Ook het avondeten was er prima. Vlak naast het hotel zijn er Tesla oplaadpunten, die ook door niet-Tesla's gebruikt kunnen worden, en die met hoge snelheid kunnen laden. Handig!'

'Locatie is erg mooi, kamers met uitzicht op de haven. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Interieur is oud en muffig, gehorig en benauwend, erg veel trappen en smalle gangetjes. Alle luchtjes uit de keuken blijven in de gangen hangen.'

'The room was clean but small, coffee and tea were provided but for the money I would want a bit more but having said that Seahouses is an expensive place now.'

'This is an institution but honestly I'd rather have a drink here and sleep elsewhere. The staff were very kind and helpful. It was mainly that because of the awesome pub it is noisy until pretty late. More from people on the street going in an out than the pub itself. It was pretty warm so I needed to leave the window open for some air. It is in the middle of town and safe and clean though, only the partiers were a problem but I was there on a Friday night.'

'The hotel was in need of a spruce up. Tha bar was a disappointing space, we chose to sit on the terrace. The concierge was very helpful at check in and the bar manager was very helpful and chatty. Our room was one of the lodges. A large space with very comfortable bed but let down by a very spartan bathroom. A waterfall shower only and basically toiletries. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice and very tasty. Staff good. Unfortunately the chairs we had were badly stained...

'Peter and Sheila were wonderful hosts. They gave us ideas of where to eat and places to see. Breakfast was very good and enjoyable with them providing information about the area. If we return to the Northumberland area we will definitely return there to stay again.'

'Travelled with 2 puppies was worried about how things would be. Didn’t need to be worried as dog friendly rooms available & staff very accommodating. Meals served all day & a good variety to choose from. Have booked for close family to stay later in the year.'
