'Quaint cottage with comfortable living space and bonus outdoor lounge chairs to enjoy an afternoon book. The property is within 30 mins of hiking trails in Shenandoah National Park. We really appreciated the ability to get to Main Street high end restaurants and an ice cream shop that had delicious flavor choices. We enjoyed ourselves and the owner was quick responding to questions. '

'I like that the house had everything I needed included hair dryer, condiments, paper towels, bath towels, shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, etc. The location is convenient, just minutes away from Luray Caverns and Walmart. I especially enjoyed the stay there of the view with cows you can see from windows!'

'My husband and I brought our newborn for his first trip away from home, and we picked the perfect home for it! It was very clean and quiet, and it was helpful to have access to a laundry machine. We were close by to Shenandoah and went on a few hikes and tried some great restaurants in the area. We look forward to coming back soon!'

'This property was beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed staying here and visiting area attractions. The only thing we found inaccurate about the posting was the exercise room/gym as in the pictures, I'm guessing it was behind one of the locked doors because other than that it looked exactly like the pictures. I'm not going to deduct any stars for that because that wasn't why we booked it but maybe someone else would want to know that.'

'We had an absolutely amazing stay in Luray!!! The location was ideal in a safe quiet neighborhood and extremely close to the Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, and various stores & food options. The home was completely immaculate, like a nice new hotel, and had everything perfectly staged. The rooms were able to comfortably fit everyone in our party (7). The bedding and linens provided were clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice with fresh towels and good hot water pressure....

'This was the best setup we could have hoped for - Four Fields was in a beautiful, quiet spot, the house was very clean and a great size, and everything in the kitchen and elsewhere was well-stacked. The house isn't far from fantastic hiking either. 'The home is situated in a great location. The back of the house faces the Robinson River - it's a very nice view. There are trails leading down to the river, a private pond, fire pits in several locations (unfortunately we couldn't use the fire pits because of the wildfires but I imagine it could be fun especially the one close to the river). There are hammocks everywhere, plenty of space for kids and dogs to run around. The home is rustic, lots of natural light and equipped with a fireplace....

When you are driving up through the woods and then everything just opens up when you get to the property, it’s just gorgeous. My kids loved the horses and the fire pit for smores. We had some difficulty with the front door lock because the battery was low and the TV remote batteries were dead. The bed is very firm and not comfortable at all. The picture/description said there was a swing but the swing has been removed. It has 2 chairs in its place. There was no covering over it so we were unable to use it due to rain.
