  • Welcome to the Mile High Mountain Suite at Beech Mountain! First floor unit steps to the indoor pool!! Minutes to Banner Elk, Boone, Beech Mountain ski resort, Land of Oz, nature, hiking, deer everywhere & the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains!! Heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and arcade in the community. The villa has a fully stocked kitchen, Smart TV, granite counters, a wood burning fireplace and a deck. It includes a queen bed and a queen pull out sofa, comfortably sleeping four.

    The condo includes a queen bed and a queen sofa bed with a full kitchen and full bath. It is a first floor unit, so just three stairs and it’s just 2 miles from Beech Mountain, ski resort, The land of Oz and several restaurants.

    Pinnacle Inn Resort
    You must turn the water on/off at the water heater when you arrive and leave. This is a Beech Mountain city ordinance to protect pipes from bursting in the cold.
    • No smoking or vaping inside.
    • No pets allowed in community.
    • Please be respectful and take care of the house as it was yours but enjoy yourselves!
    • Respect the neighbors. No loud parties. Quiet time between 11pm and 8am
    • Pool/Hot tub/fitness center hours 9:30am-10:00pm
    • Tennis, Putt-Putt, Shuffleboard, Pickleball, basketball equipment can be rented free of charge at the HOA office Mon-Fri 9-5pm

    UPON CHECK OUT:
    • Please discard all leftover food, trash etc. and place in outdoor trash bin at the back of the resort.
    • Place used towels and linens on floor so they know to clean them.
    • Rinse any dishes and start the dishwasher.

Our stay was great! The space was clean, Jim was polite, attentive, and easy to get ahold of. Our children are small, so having a playground close by and things you can walk/stroller to and not have to get in the car was a major plus for us. Whistle pig, Fred’s, and famous pizza are easy to get to. We would love to come back. Thank you!

Easy to access with plenty to do! We sat on the balcony the last night to star gaze, the sky was clear and we were lucky enough to see a shooting star! Our host quickly replied to my message I sent before we arrived, which was very much appreciated.

Easy drive and parking access to slopes. Very small, eficiency, but had all i needed. Goid size for a couple. Jim was very nice and appreciate him respinding to questions. I woukd stay here again.

Great studio unit in Beech Mountain

Needed a place for my mom to stay so she could attend a wedding over the weekend. We loved the close proximity to Overlook Barn and beech mountain. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall the host was fabulous. The location was fabulous. Jim was attentive and easy to get a hold of, it was VRBOs software and customer service that made the check in absolutely miserable.

The place was hard to find as the instructions and marking around the property was not good. It was very dirty inside the room and we didn’t have all linens or towels/rags when we arrived. After texting and calling about it there were none brought to us. We had to wash ourselves dirty ones from a storage closet. The dishes were filthy and generally the room was too. Mold on the shower curtain and windows. The place had a bad smell. We kept the windows open just to get fresh air. There was no AC either. If there had of been another option nearby we would have left immediately. It ruined our weekend. I have stayed in some not so nice places before and this place was maybe worse than any we have been to. Never again!

There were several issues, from not getting check information on time to an out of date smoke detector which beeped constantly. The property owner tried to get maintenance to correct the issue, however, since it was the weekend maintenance was unavailable. I was able to troubleshoot and stop the beeping. The plus is this unit is on the ground floor with a wonderful outside deck area.

Weekend Getaway

We ran into a little snafu with the listing stating pets under 20 pounds allowed in one place and nopets allowed in another place. Upon booking, I left a message stating we were bring 2 dogs that were 10 pounds each. Since we hadn’t heard anything else, we brought our dogs. We checked in with no issues; the following day we found out that pets were not allowed. Thus, we had to quickly find other lodging. The host didn’t hesitate to make it right. Overall, it is a nice location and a great place for a couple wanting to get away and enjoy the mountain amenities nearby.
