Ons huis zal ongetwijfeld bekoren in de details. Of u wilt uw hart ski out of knuffelen en lees je boek terwijl u uitkijkt op het prachtige view-- ons huis de perfecte vakantie zal zorgen voor u en uw gezin. We kochten dit huis in 2010, omdat we verliefd geworden op wat werd geadverteerd als een 'Million Dollar View'. Tjonge, ze hadden gelijk !! De zonsondergang is ontzagwekkend. We ontdaan van het huis, bouwde een aanvulling op de grootte van de home-- verdubbelen en nu brengen onze 3 kinderen om te genieten van het skiën, sleeën, en wandelen in de bergen.

Nu om de details:
Ons huis is geschikt voor 7 personen. De master bedroom heeft een super comfortabel kingsize bed-- met hem en haar matrassen om een ​​rustige nacht van slaap te bevorderen. Een nieuwe flatscreen-tv en een eigen badkamer bieden een kans om weg te glippen voor een rustige tijd en ontspanning.

Een gast slaapkamer heeft 1 Queen bed en 1 Twin met een televisie. Een gast slaapkamer heeft 1 Queen bed.

De open living plan heeft een grote eettafel met 8 stoelen, bar met 3 krukken, en een dubbele open haard vanuit zowel de eethoek en de woonkamer. De woonkamer is zeer comfortabel en stapt uit op onze gesloten serre voor heerlijke middag ontspanning. Het achterdek is voorzien van comfortabele rockers en een elektrische grill. Drink uw koffie of wijn op het dek en kijken naar de zon opkomen of set. Prachtig uitzicht!

Voor de zomer gasten, dan kunt u er rekening mee dat ons huis evenals de meeste woningen op de berg hebben geen airconditioning. De temperaturen in de loop van de dag zijn meestal in de bovenste jaren '60 / '70 laag en kunnen af ​​en toe naar de mid / bovenste jaren '70 op bepaalde dagen. De temperatuur kan behoorlijk koud in de avonduren. Onze gasten houden van alle van de ramen open in de zomer en genieten van de koele bries van buiten. Er zijn verdieping fans in de kasten en een grote ventilator aan het plafond in de woonkamer van het huis.

Ons hele huis is op 1-niveau, wat geweldig is voor mensen die het moeilijk vinden traplopen is. We hebben off-street parking voor 2 auto's, en er zijn ongeveer 6 trappen naar beneden op de loopbrug naar onze voordeur. Voor de winter gasten, weet dan dat Beech Mountain vereist dat u een 4-wheel drive voertuig tijdens de wintermaanden. Ze doen ploeg de wegen vaak tijdens sneeuwval, maar probeer alsjeblieft niet het besturen van de berg tijdens de winter zonder de juiste voertuig.

Wij houden van kinderen! In de master bedroom kast houden we een pak n te spelen voor je baby nodig heeft.

This mountain house had a good central location on Beech mountain, so there was easy access to everything. The house was well appointed, with good bathrooms and a modern well-supplied kitchen. The deck had great sunset views of the mountains! Very nice home just as it was advertised.

Let me start by saying that the house has beautiful views as described by the owner. It has the western sunset so in the winter that is perfect in the summer not so much as it is pretty hot When we got there, the AC was not working and did not work for two days. The owner was very responsive however she couldn’t get somebody Out there the same day and of course it was hot because it was summer. I gave it a four star overall Because there were other issues that were not kept up in the house These were basic maintenance issues. The tub didn’t drain. The floors are buckling. The furniture is worn. Half of the blinds were broken and we couldn’t open up the windows when the AC did not work. It was pretty clean. It just needed a lot of TLC. I would’ve given it a three stars, but it was pretty inexpensive so for the price I gave it a four stars.

Our family had a pleasant stay here. The house was clean, cozy and obviously the landlord takes care of it very well. The check-in was easy and the landlord was very responsive. The only thing I would recommend is to have a bigger/better water heater as we used both baths at the same time and the hot water ran out quickly. The area is very nice; just that the weather last weekend there was disappointing otherwise we would have a perfect weekend escape.

Cozy home that has been well cared for with an amazing view. I cannot say this enough - the view was tremendous! The neighborhood was very quiet and you did not directly see any of your neighbors. This made you feel more isolated - bonus! Easy driveway to navigate with snow. Good areas to walk or hike. We watched it snow, played hours of board games and welcomed in the new year. Thank you!!!!

Property is in a great location, convenient to hiking trails and the Beech Mountain Club. The mountain view is spectacular, especially sunsets! This property has a mountain cabin feel with everything you need, but could use updated bathrooms. Towels and sheets were nice, as were the furnishings and decor. Air conditioning was a plus as we visited during August.

The property definitely has great views, our #1 request! It is fairly well equipped, however would benefit from new mattress covers, sheets, a sharp knife or two and better TV programming, which was bare bones during our stay. There are no closets in two of the bedrooms. Our primary concern was the smell of grease, which was overwhelming when we first arrived. We had to open windows! There is no ventilation to the outside in the kitchen (or with the fireplace that we could tell). The owner was very nice and responded quickly to some questions we had. The property was not advertised to be 5 star but it does need some work,. even at the current reasonable price.

Great location and spectacular views. Went went to ski but unfortunately we’re unable to as all stores ran out of equipment (before 9am). The reason I did not give 5 stars was because of housekeeping. It appeared that the housekeeping crew had not washed the covers in the primary. When I reached out to Julianne, she was prompt, gracious, and kind about the situation. I have no doubt that will be an issue no longer.

This was our third time visiting Beech Mountain. This house is very suitable for a family of 4 to 6 people. The location is excellent and the size of the house is perfect. I recommend it 100%.

Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday in this beautiful home! The views were gorgeous and the home was very comfortable. Julianne went above and beyond to check in on us and meet our needs. We arrived to a snowy wonderland which made snowboarding, hiking, and exploring a great experience.

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful mountain house. It’s even prettier and more spacious than the pictures give it credit for. It was everything we needed with plenty of room and lots of bright light with the vaulted ceiling and large windows, and it has an amazing view for miles and miles. It faces the west, so you a breathtaking sunset each night. The sunroom was perfect when it was too cold or windy to enjoy the deck, but you can still get to soak up the peaceful view. It was clean, well stocked, and all the crucial information you may need is well documented and given to you in advance. Would absolutely recommend this house without any reservation and would stay here again!

We liked our stay at this place. It has gorgeous view from the deck. We were even able to walk to the Sunset park. Rooms are clean with everything ready when we moved in. The property manager is very helpful in answering our questions.

This is a hard house to rate, as there are pros and cons (as with every VRBO) and a perfect rating would be 3.8 I rate it a 4 because it is a spacious house with updates. There is a large deck and we enjoyed the glass enclosed sitting area on days when the weather was rainy. The fireplace in the living room is beautiful and the back wall has lots of windows that lets in beautiful sunshine. Very friendly and helpful host who is very responsive. The view at sunset is beautiful and Wifi was excellent. The home is large enough for a family or friends getaway as the arrangement is good and the kitchen supplies are good. The location of the home is great for accessibility on and off the mountain. I would rate it a 3 because of cleanliness, overall maintenance, supplies provided and the musty smoky smell (smoking is not permitted) when we arrived. According to the host, the smoke was apparently due to maintenance personnel who were in the house before we arrived. Clearly not the fault of the host but still frustrating. Tips for future renters: 1. Bring your own tissues and hand soap. 2. The owner has a “social membership” at the Beech Mountain Club which allows use of the “pool, fitness center, dining venues, and social activities”. Also, a social membership does not allow access to golf, tennis, pickleball, or fitness classes. To use these facilities requires a significant (and for me prohibitive) cost upgrade payable to the Beech Mountain Club. Instead we played Sugar Mountain and Boone Golf Club. Both good courses.

We loved this place. The decor was lovely, everything well stocked, clean, and comfy. The neighborhood was delightful. The view was magnificent. Most of the days were cloudy and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the clouds moving and the constant changing of the weather. We did have times that it all cleared and we could see forever. The deck faces west so the sun is pretty intense for a good part of the afternoon but the mornings and evenings were amazing. We enjoyed the brewery and the ski lift at the Beech Mountain ski Resort which was walking distance from the house. We attended the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games on Saturday. Our son participated in the solo bagpipe grade 2 competition and won 1 st in the piehaerbrachd. I know I spelled it wrong. Wonderful place

It's perfect! I mostly read reviews to get practical details so focusing on those. Host has rules but super friendly and great with communications, and the rules mean everything is perfectly set up on arrival. Any cooking tools you'll need are there but (as the host notes in communications) bring your own coffee / cooking oil. We happened to be there during one of the biggest snow storms in years, and the fireplace and living room and all the chocolate and cheese we brought with us meant major hygge. This house is closer to the ski resort than I realized when booking. Because it's past the resort you avoid most traffic in and out. One slight downside to the unbelievable view: the land falls away so there's not a good place to sled on property (but we found a place nearby). Beech makes road plowing / salting a priority. This house is roughly six houses down from Pinnacle Ridge, one of Beech's priority plow roads. It stormed snow all day. The next morning Pinnacle Ridge was plowed by 9 am. We may have been able to get our Highlander down the six houses to Pinnacle Ridge earlier, but we didn't try because the road in front of the home was plowed by 3 pm. Although there's a shortcut on roads that aren't plowed as early, Pinnacle Ridge connects to Beech Mountain Parkway so once you reach Pinnacle Ridge you can go anywhere.

Our family of 4 had a very nice stay for 3 nights. The view is amazing, loved the convenience of having 1 story and wow! What a fireplace! We spent most of our time at the ski resort and this home was a very convenient drive. We were also visited each evening by the neighborhood deer, who actually walked right up to us! My daughter is a big animal lover and that was probably the highlight of our stay for her! Very private and low traffic area. Would consider staying again for our annual mountain trip!

The house was very comfortable, the fireplace was very nice to cozy up by. Would definitely rent this place again if we come back with no family although It would have slept six (3 couples) comfortably. Short drive in to downtown Beech and not much farther into Banner Elk. Many good restaurants to choose from (Stonewalls, Sorrento’s, and Alpen Inn among others).

Lovely one level home with a great view west of Beech Mountain. Well appointed with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. Quiet neighborhood with little traffic, but close the center of Beech Mountain. Great location for watching the leaves turn in the fall. We had a very enjoyable stay.
