'What a wonderful stay. The room was as advertised and had everything we needed. This property is located on a quiet neighborhood street and parking is right in front. The owner Shawn was professional, communicative and friendly. We had a car but you can walk to most things. This is not a tourist area but more of a local community, which we prefer. 'Nice, basic but comfortable apartments. A stone's throw from the surfing beach and 10 minutes walk from one of the nicest beaches in Barbados (Miami/Enterprise beach). Alwin, the owner, showed me the town and brought me to the supermarket for the first groceries. Great service.'

'This is a gorgeous, and well located, place to stay in Barbados. That patio, and the views from the primary bedroom, are stunning. It's easy to reach via car, and you can explore the whole island if you wish. Easy to walk to nearby beaches and restaurants too. (Pro tip, the cheaper ones are cash only!) 'We had a great time at paynes bay. Madaline and William are very kind and helpfull. We could use the sunbeds of the beachbar while waiting for our check-in time. In the first day William took us to the supermarket as we had no Rental car. The approximity of the beach and the bar with a simple but good meal or drinks is just the thing you want for a holiday in Barbados. The kitchen is wel equiped and the beds are better than at home. I can highly recommend this apartement to anyone.'

'This place an absolute gem. The apartment has everything you need. Comfortable beds, fully-equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony overlooking the spectacular west coast. The apartment is just off the main road so expect the sound of some traffic at night. It didn’t bother us though and felt like a small price to pay for being on the beach.
