'First impressions are lasting… upon arrival for our five night stay at the Hampton Inn, my wife and I were initially greeted by several personal hairs left on the bathroom vanity from the previous occupants. Additionally, candy wrappers were left along side the bed leading us to wonder, had the bed sheets been just as carefully tended to? Furthermore, the thermostat wasn’t working properly making the room’s temperature inconsistent and unmanageable. As for a positive… the bed was soft and...

'Hotel was reasonably clean, however, green mold all over the balcony. Breakfast foods were good, but ran out frequently, including coffee and milk. Staff very friendly and seemed competent. It’s not up to the standard of the old Fairfield hotels.'

'The room was very nice and spotless loved everything about the room. The view was amazing even the day it stormed loved watching it on the water. Never seen any staff the whole time i was there. The only thing that wasnt great about the room was feeling every spring in the mattresses. Sleeping was a tad rough.'

'I’m not sure if we were just offered the worst room in the hotel, or if people aren’t being honest. The room is completely dated! Blood on the floor by the tub, black mildew/mold that has been covered with caulking. Blood even on the lamp. Bugs crawling on the ceiling. To see so many positive and amazing reviews, I really feel my daughter and I received the worst room there. '

'Nice new hotel with direct beach access and pool. Nice up to date rooms, friendly staff. Bar should open longer than 9 PM. And 1 night the restaurant was not seating outside because " It was too wet" It had not rained in hours and there was no rain foreseen in hours, just the restaurant staff too lazy to dry the tables and chairs. That is a shame as the outside area of the restaurant has a view on the beach.'

'The hotel was ok, but the bed was old and not comfortable at all. The pull-out sofa was super hard. When we went to get Breakfast, they literally closed the door so no one could come in and rush us out. The front desk ladies were super nice. Just fyi this hotel does not have a waterpark inside the hotel the park is about 5 minutes away. Expidia lie that the hotel has a waterpark. '
