Het is een mooi, net hotel in een leuk smal straatje. Rustig. Zalig zwembad op het dak. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Schoon. Goed ontbijtbuffet.

Prachtig hotel, vriendelijk personeel. Als ik 1 min puntje mag benoemen is het de geur in de kamer waar wij zaten die rook naar riool en sigaretten de sigaretten waarschijnlijk van de vorige mensen maar dat was echt wel vies. Verder echt perfect en we komen zeker terug.

Heel prettig en comfortabel hotel. Midden in hartje Centrum. Vlak bij de Kathedraal en de La Rambla. Je pakt zo de bus vanuit Playa de Cataluyna rechtstreeks naar de AirPort. Zeker een aanrader.

Schitterende locatie in de gotische wijk op wandelafstand van de aerobushalte Plaça Catalunya. Rustige en stille kamers, ook al was onze kamer slechts op de eerste verdieping. Zalig uitgebreid ontbijt in een prachtige setting met leuk binnenpleintje. Ontbijt kan je nemen tussen 7u30 en 12u, hierdoor is het altijd rustig ontbijten. Zonneterras op dak met verfrissend zwembad. Gratis frisdranken en hapjes aan bar op dakterras vanaf 14u tot 23u. Enorm vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Mucho gracias! Wij zijn fan en komen zeker nog eens terug!

Het is een prima hotel op een goede locatie. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Schone kamers. Alleen niet geluidsdicht.

Perfect hotel, perfecte plek
Superfijn hotel, heerlijk ontbijt, vlak bij ramblas, rustig straatje, oase van rust in drukke stad, dakterras met zwembad en zalige ligbedden is ontzettend fijn. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf dakterras. Vanuit het hotel meerdere restaurantjes op een steenworpafstand. Metrostation urqinanoa (uitgang Jonq...) op 2 minuten afstand lopen. Hotel ligt in de gothische wijk en aan de overkant van de straat ligt el born. Helemaal leuk! Buffet met allerlei lekkere hapjes tussen 14/15 en 23.00. Koekjes, fruit, sla, broodjes, wraps & alle drankjes daar op het dakterras zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen (niet de alocoholische). Verwennerij! En heerlijk om tussendoor even te chillen in het hotel, en dan weer terug de stad n.

Het hotel was fantastisch. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De spa is klein maar heel fijn, kamers iedere dag weer tip top in orde. Heerlijke doucheruimte in de badkamer, erg ruim met stortdouche en handdouche die tegelijkertijd hun werk goed doen. Onbeperkt gratis koffie, thee en flesjes water op de kamer. Iedere dag tussen 13 en 23 uur gratis snacks waaronder wraps, sandwiches, vers fruit, yoghurt, aardappelen, soep, verse juice, zoete broodjes en frisdrank. Locatie is top, direct achter de grote winkelstraat met toegang tot ov op iedere hoek. Ik kom zeker terug!

Prima hotel op een goede locatie
Zeer net hotel op een prima locatie. Alles in de buurt, metro, restaurants, kroegen en winkels. Hotel is zeer goed onderhouden en het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Bij het zwembad, met handdoekenservice, is van 13.00 tot 23.00 service met gratis softdrinks en kleine hapjes. Deze worden de hele dag aangevuld. Bij aankomst ontvingen wij een heerlijke fles cava. Dit hotel heeft service zeer hoog in het vaandel staan! Wij hebben echt genoten van ons 11 daags verblijf!!!!

Wonderful hotel in a great area and gorgeous street. Rooms are lovely, roof top pool and bar. Plenty of vegan options at breakfast which are all clearly marked :) Lovely bars and restaurants in the same street, close to transport options and totally walkable. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location! Very good breakfast! First , we got 003 room which has no hot water and curtains couldn’t be opened, otherwise you won’t get any privacy. Only after several requests to the hotel staff they were eventually able to move us to another room. The privacy was not there either, everyone can see you full height unless you fully close the curtains and then you have no day light. The hot water problem was solves though. Bottom line, for the price and hotel rating, we should have gotten somewhat smoother experience.

Great Stay/Location
Catalonia Magdalenes is located right in the heart of the old town - it was the perfect jumping off point to walk to restaurants, shops, really anywhere you wanted to go. We took the airport bus to Catalunya Plaza and walked to the hotel from there, maybe an 8 minute walk. We were greeted warmly every time we arrived & check-in was a breeze. The breakfast every morning was fantastic! Probably our favorite part of the stay. Too cold to use the outdoor pool in November (though you could've if you wanted to). My only criticism is a design flaw - the bed was situated right in front of the door to the bathroom. The door is frosted glass & there is a gap between it and the door frame. The door frame is also mirrored, so someone on the toilet could make eye contact with someone sitting on the bed via the gap & the mirror. It was a little awkward to say the least. We utilized the downstairs bathrooms quite frequently.

The hotel was in a perfect location. Right in the center of everything. Staff was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning had everything I needed and the custom order grill was great. Hotel is new and modern. We loved it.
