Wonderful
This place is fantastic. It’s in a really cute part of the village which is charming. There are shops and restaurants nearby. It’s very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the wood stove. The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, milk, sugar, orange juice, bottled water, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. But you will have to buy ice, which they have at a little market around the block. Our phones did not work but Ellen was great and we worked everything out through the VRBO app. If you are worried about being outside of the city the train is reliable and gets you to the heart of town quickly. I’m really glad we stayed here!

We had a great relaxing stay at the little dream house, it's just the right size for two people with everything beautifuly planned to fit the space available. We didn't want for anything. For people with mobility issues the small stairway which connects both the ground floor and first floor may be a challenge as could showering in the Bathtub but we managed addiquatly. The extra outside spaces were a bonus and nice areas to have and use in the mornings and evenings. The house is in a lovely Spanish residential area with plenty of very good restraunts, bars and a veriaty of shops to walk to, we also found it convenient to take the train from the nearby station to explore Barcelona. Bernd and Ellen were on hand with great information and gave their time to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend a stay at this exquisite and unique property.

Da wir 10 Tage Urlaub hatten,konnten wir in aller Ruhe die Gegend erkunden und mit der Bahn ,in ca 30 min ,nach Barcelona direkt in die City fahren.Leider spielte das Wetter noch nicht so mit,so dass wir den schönen Balkon und den Vorgarten nur selten nutzen konnten ,aber der Kamin heizte wunderbar.Die Wohnung war ausreichend für 2 Personen,sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet,Küchenaustattung reichte auch aus ,um selber zu kochen- Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fussläufig in der Nähe.Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Wir haben die 10 Tage sehr genossen und sind erholt nach Hamburg zurück gekommen .

Das kleine, feine Fischerhäuschen ist wunderbar! Sehr sauber und die Einrichtung ist schön, sehr gepflegt und wirkt neuwertig. Zudem ist die Ausstattung top. Es ist alles vorhanden (Küchen- u. Badausstattung, Reinigungsmittel). Die Kommunikation mit Senora E. hat vorab und während des Aufenthaltes super geklappt. Sehr hilfsbereit und absolut bemüht den Aufenthalt perfekt zu gestalten. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmal an dieser Stelle! Wer ein liebevoll restauriertes Häuschen inmitten von Vilassar sucht, dem können wir diese schöne Unterkunft absolut empfehlen. Wir vergeben ganz klar die Bestnote an Senora E.

Great Location and Adorable House
We absolutely loved the adorable little house! It was exactly as described and pictured. The town of Vilassar de Mar is actually a bit bigger than we expected with many restaurants and shops so we didn't run out of options over our 2-week stay. It was wonderful and we would definitely visit again.

Très joli petit logis plein de charme
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logis. L’emplacement est près de toutes les commodités et à quelques minutes de la plage. Notre hôtesse, Ellen, est très gentille et très accommodante! Je recommande fortement de choix pour un séjour romantique!

This is a gem!
When we first mapped out the location I was just a bit concerned about where we had booked. However it turned out to be the exact opposite and our experience was pretty much perfect from start to finish. The apartment is quite cozy and for a couple that likes to cook it worked out just fine. The laundry was very useful and we found the whole place immaculately cleaned. The access is easy enough once you get a feel for the neighborhood and I was very, very pleased with how peaceful ("pin-drop quiet") the neighborhood was at night. Our host greeted us and showed us some of the "ins and outs" of staying here and it was an easy and extremely pleasant stay. The neighborhood is awesome. Quiet and sleepy till dark then bubbling alive with cafés and shopping in the evenings. We can unreservedly recommend this property and our excellent host for a getaway from the city. But if you choose to go to the city the train station is few blocks away.

Sehr schöner Urlaub
Entsprechend den anderen Bewertungen wurde das Haus wirklich sehr geschmackvoll umgebaut und eingerichtet. Es ist alles notwendige vorhanden und sehr durchdacht eingebaut. Wir haben den Aufenhalt im Garten zum Frühstücken und das abendliche Glas Wein auf der Dachterrasse sehr genossen. Abwechslungsreiche Restaurants usw. sind schnell zu erreichen. Mit dem Zug ist man schnell in Barcelona. Für uns aus einer mehr ländlichen Region war die Parkplatzsuche vor allem zum Wochenende etwas nervend, aber dann doch immer erfolgreich. ;-) Liebe Ellen, vielen Dank für die problemlose Übergabe und für einen schönen Urlaub.

Das Apartment ist charmant eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht. Es liegt zentral, ist ruhig und zum Stand ist es 5 Minuten. Rundherum gibt es verschiede Geschäfte zum Einkaufen und eine recht grosse Auswahl an Restaurants. Ideal wenn man nicht die Hektik von Barcelona sucht und trotzdem in der Nähe sein möchte.

Traumhaftes modernes Fischerhäuschen
Das Haus in ruhiger Lage ist toll modernisiert und clever eingerichtet, um den Platz optimal auszunutzen. Im Ort gibt es genügend Bars/Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Strand - alles fußläufig erreichbar.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und für Rückfragen gut erreichbar. Die ganze Abwicklung war durchweg unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ausreichend ausgestattet. Ich denke wir waren nicht das erste und letzte Mal dort! Danke nochmals für die schönen Tage!

Loved this beautiful apartment. The decor, cleanliness and location are amazing, The bed is incredibly comfortable. We stayed for 4 days on our way to Valencia. Vilassar de Mar is a 25 min train ride to Barcelona. The ocean is a 3 min walk. The beaches are beautiful. Ellen was so organized and very knowledgeable. Parking was available for the duration a couple of streets up. Would most definitely go back!

Un très bon contact avec Hélène et un accueil très facile... Beaucoup de charme dans cette petite maison où l’on s’est senti très rapidement comme chez nous... Restauration avec des matériaux de qualité... Agréable petite cour pour le petit déjeuner et les repas... Terrasse contiguë à la chambre pour lire tranquillement... Emplacement en plein centre à 2 minutes des restaurants et des commerçants et à 5 minutes de la plage... Si vous venez en voiture, ne vous garez pas dans le parking à côté de la maison mais dans le quartier récent à 5mn à pied les places sont gratuites... Villasar est une petite ville pas encore touristique où il fait bon vivre... Très bon pied à terre pour visiter les alentours

Peaceful oasis in the midst of vibrant Barcelona, Exceptional Owner, No Car needed
The Little Dream House offered everything we desired - inside, out, and beyond - for a relaxing vacation with opportunities to sample Barcelona's bustle as much or as little as we wished. The house is charming, the location is ideal and the owner is an exceptional host. Ellen, the owner, helped us with expert advice even before we arrived and attended immediately to everything we asked while there. Inside, the house is spotlessly clean, quiet, cozy, tastefully decorated, and well-outfitted for adventurous cooking. Each item seems to have been carefully chosen by the owner to be both useful and appealing. We especially appreciated the brilliantly planned kitchen and its comfortable seating area. For our mid-April visit the owner stocked wood for the fireplace and welcomed us to enjoy it for heat or ambiance. The radiator heating system worked very well, although we needed it for a only few minutes on the first day. Outside we enjoyed the upstairs terrace with lounge chair for reading and watching the monk parakeets visit. The historic fisherman's colony, of which the house is a member, is a quiet neighbourhood of long-term residents who were friendly and yet, respectful of our privacy. Beyond the gate of the fisherman's colony is historic Vilassar de Mar with narrow streets, little parks and pedestrian zones. Along these streets are shops for everything one might need including a well-stocked supermarket, butcher, bakeries, cafés, restaurants, clothing and houseware stores - all oriented toward serving the needs of a community. The expansive beach is a leisurely 5 minute walk downhill from the house and in mid-April was practically deserted. We enjoyed walking the beach promenade and watching the waves curl on the windy April days. The Vilassar de Mar area did not feel like a tourist-dense zone, and we had to pry ourselves away from its relaxing pace to do the touring we intended in Barcelona's center. Getting to the Plaça de Catalunya was easy and quite inexpensive. The train station is a 5 minute walk from the house and the ride to the Plaça is a single-leg train ride. As the owner recommended, we bought a T-10 (ten rides, multiple zones) train ticket and zipped to the Plaça station multiple times to sample the bustle of Barcelona center, then returned to our little nest for quiet evenings in what is truly a little dream house.

Ein tolles, kleines Haus!!!
Das Häuschen ist fast noch schöner als auf den Fotos, wirklich mit ganz viel Liebe gemacht. Inzwischen wurde auf der Dachterrasse auch noch ein Liegestuhl ergänzt, (sehr bequem, ich habe ihn oft zum Lesen genützt) und der Garten ist wirklich sehr gepflegt und grün, was man auf den Fotos gar nicht so sehen kann. Das Meer war immer noch warm zu dieser Jahreszeit (Anfang Oktober) und wir hatten den schönen Strand praktisch für uns alleine. Der Ort selber gefiel uns auch sehr gut, ein sehr hübscher, historischer Ort, ruhig und dennoch super angebunden an Barcelona. Man ist in einer guten halben Stunde direkt am Placa Catalunya. Vielen Dank an die Vermieterin, die uns einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt ermöglicht hat!

Beautiful and Charming as the Pictures
We loved our stay here. The homeowner is gracious, helpful, responsive and attentive. The home really is as charming as it looks in the pictures. It is quite small and best shared by two who enjoy togetherness. The only drawback to the lovely garden is that the neighbor is a smoker. There are some good places to eat nearby. The train station is close and the walk takes you a few blocks through town and then along the sea. Barcelona is only 30 minutes away so you can have a leisurely breakfast at home and then spend the rest of the day in the city. The trains run frequently. I highly recommend the "Little Dreamhouse" as a perfect way to combine some relaxing time near the sea with a city adventure. Already planning my next trip back to Barcelona!

Charming villa by the sea. Only 35 minutes train ride to Barcelona.
We loved Vilassar De Mar and our charming villa. We stayed for a month and spent half of our time in Vilassar. The other half we took the train and explored the beautiful and exciting city of Barcelona. We loved the city but always were happy to come back to our cozy little home. We were sad to leave. Romantischer Urlaub
Ein wundervoll eingerichtetes Domizil, liebevoll mit Wohlfühlfaktor. Direkt im Ort, tolle Restaurants in der Nähe, Strand und Bahnhof schnell erreichbar. Kein Touristenrummel, nette Menschen. Kein Pauschalurlaub, sondern mitten im Leben! Alles da um selbst zu kochen, auf zum Markt! Und das zubereitete Mahl im kleinen romantischen Garten einnehmen. Ausflüge nach Barcelona mit dem Zug sind erlebnisreich und ermöglichen das Studium der Einheimischen. Doch Vorsicht! Nicht den letzten Zug am Wochenende nehmen! Sardinenfaktor... Wir kommen wieder.
