Thanks a lot for your review. The flat is in a very central location close to the most important sightseeing’s of Barcelona. We offer a fully stocked apartment and as you said its ideal to cook. I would like to clarify some of the points that you say on your review. First the noise: Barcelona is a very vibrant city and of course being in the center of the city implies some good and bad things. Our apartment is located on a real 5th floor. When we refurbished we installed new sound prove windows that work very well. On top of that there is no Bar or nightclub on the area. The only noise that can be heard is what is heard in all cities when you live at the city center (traffic but barely as we have took good care of the sound prove windows). I travel a lot in US and Canada and I do not expect to have zero noise when I am in NYC or San Francisco. The problem with the washing machine was solved immediately even it was weekend. We did our best to have a new machine installed at the apartment is two days. I of course apology for this inconvenience but those things happen when you have a tourist apartment. The “suspicious” noise at the kitchen is due to the pump that is used at the apartment to get rid of the water from the WC and shower of the master bedroom. This is due to the pipes that are in buildings from the Art Nouveau age (150 Years Old) Then I get to what you mention ridiculous. I cannot accept that there is no security on the bed lamp that we have over the master bedroom bed. It’s a design lamp that is perfectly secured to the ceiling. Then there are two bed lights at each night table. Those lights are hand made build at a more than 200 year old round grinder (you can see the pictures). The design of the master bedroom cannot be of your like but saying that is ridiculous means not understanding the design to the detail that this apartment has. The same happens at the washing hands basing with two hanging bulb lamps that are a true design. In this bedroom all the furniture has been design for this flat from antiques. Its completely unique and there are no equal pieces anywhere else. As for the shower at the master bedroom yes its an open shower but nothing that is not shown on the pictures we have online. Going to the kitchen the air filter/lamp that we have is an Italian design that has carbon filters inside. The air gets cleaned and expulsed outside (BUT CLEAN). We understand that this design is no of your like. All the pictures at VRBO/Homeaway shows the flat exactly how it is. Nothing has been changed. We have good comments from our guest and we have done many refurbishing’s in some other apartments that we own. All of them have appeared in architectural and design magazines. But of course not everyone likes the same. We take the good on your review and we hope that in the future you can come to Barcelona and enjoy this wonderful city.

Thanks a lot for your nice review. The flat is very central and has all the tourist attractions close by. We refurbished the apartment back in 2014. We change the pipes and all the installations are new. We want to apology as what is written on the paper is toilet paper when it should say disposal towels. We ask not to though away disposal towels as this might be a problem with the pipes and for ecological problems. As for the upstairs noise after I red your comment I went to check. It seams that the neighbor had some guest that week. I assume this was the reason as its the first time that we have a noise complain. Thanks a lot for your nice comment. The flat is very central just few steps to the major sightseeing’s of Barcelona. Thee is no need to get on public transportation as the must are on a short walking distance. We have 2 powerful AC Units at the flat. We really took care of the quality materials when we refurbished the flat 3 years ago. Regarding the toilet at the master bedroom it’s a pump flushing WC. We had to put this kind of toilet otherwise due to the down pipes installation at the building. we would only have been able to install 1 WC at the flat. This way we have two WC. It has an exterior unit located on one side of the kitchen (properly covered) but its not connected to the sink so there is no need to worry about it. As for the second shower when you told me that it was not flowing well we sent the technician and he fixed it. Its true that there have been some works going on at the entrance of the flat. We truly apology for it but its out of our control. It’s a community decision to make the improvements and we can’t oppose to it. Thanks also for your nice comment on my dad’s tour. He always does tours on demand in case our guest require to eat in the middle of the tour or go to WC he will adapt to the guest needs. As for the price notice that it’s a 6 hours private tour. As you said it was non-stopping and included both the Old Town area and the Art Nouveau buildings. The knowledge of my dad’s history makes this tour very interesting and it has always been very high rated by our guest. We always inform that the entrance to the sites is not included. Notice that the ticket cost to Sagrada Familia can go up to 30 Euro per person. If you compare the price/quality of the tour with competitors you would see that is very worth it. Plus I can proudly say that the knowledge and study of my dad’s history of the city exceeds by far the average. As for the departure instructions normally Eddie give all the indications for departure. I will check with him and I apology if that was not explained. Thanks a lot for your nice comment. We work hard to improve with the comments of our guest. We have bought 2 towel racks at the flat so there is no issue drying the towels. Regarding the size of the flat we offer a 3 bedroom apartment. The flat is perfect for 6 people though it can be occupied up to 8 adults. The 3 bedrooms are big and the living and dinning area seats 6 people. The flat location can't be more central. Less than 5 min on foot to the major sightseeing's of Barcelona. Plus its a fully licensed apartment. We really look forward to seeing you again in Barcelona. Thanks again for choosing us

First thanks for your review. The flat is located at the center of Barcelona less than 5 min on foot to the major sightseeing’s of Barcelona. We refurbished the flat 2 years ago and we used the highest quality materials. We installed top quality soundproof windows. We are located at a real 5th floor. However Barcelona is a very vibrant city and sometimes-exterior noise can happen. We cannot do anything if a woman decides to sing at outside however its not the normal thing since the quarter is very quiet. Regarding the size of the kitchen, as its possible to see on the pictures, is huge. It’s the most important area of the apartment. We often do wine tastings with our guest or they hire our chef at home. We provide with 6 chairs and a table that seats 6 people. The kitchen has a center island and its equipped with the highest quality appliances. As for the coffee machine let me be accurate. We offer complimentary coffee and a regular coffee machine that works perfectly. What we offer as an extra option is a Nespresso machine with Nespresso coffee pellets. We also offer complementary fruit basket and a very nice bottle of Spanish wine. Regarding the showers we didn’t get any notice about the shower door. I just informed our maintenance team to check it and fix it ASAP. We truly apologize for that. Regarding the sewer there is no problem with it. For the master bedroom WC and shower we use a pump system. The machine of the pump system is located at the kitchen (perfectly covered by a very nice furniture). The noise that you heard was due to the pump not due to the sewer. As for the taxi I got the email at 1am (a few hours before your arrival) at that time I could not do anything to book the ca. We always get in contact a few weeks in advance to check for transportation and extra things needed such as pre stoking, tours and day trips. We didn’t receive any email or answer to our email. You should understand that at that time in the middle of the night the day I cant organize everything. We work with a serious taxi company and I call directly the owner and organize the pick-ups for our guest. We offer a top quality apartment. We dont have short cuts. All furniture, appliances, mattresses, pillows, bed cloths, towels, windows, solid wood floors are of the highest quality. We offer a top accommodation at a very reasonable price in the center of Barcelona just few steps to the major sightseeing’s. We hope to see you next time in Barcelona
