Wonderful and romantic hotel
Good location, very friendly staff - truly go above and beyond, beautiful and welcoming decoration and atmosphere, great rooftop, and I truly appreciated the fact that the bar has different alternatives for cow milk (for those difficult people that are lactose and soy intolerant but still like their lates ;-) ) - that really doesn't happen often. And although we didn't really use it, the complementary mini bar is a nice feature.

This is a really nice hotel right in the center so it's easy to walk most places. The rooftop bar and pool area is great for chilling out. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was perfect! The area is great right on the edge of the gothic area. Easy subway access too! The road infront of hotel has construction. Kind of annoying, we didnt realize it at th time of booking. Glad we didn't, the staff is exceptional. They would go get a taxi for us and also took all our luggage out to the taxi pickup. Couldn't have been more accomadating! Highly recommend

Hotel has had a recent major refurbishment. I have stayed here a few times, location is perfect! We found our room was modern and comfortable but dark, especially in the shower. No mirror in the room, Only mirror was in the bathroom. We had to ask for an extra bathrobe and teabags, only one of each left for two of us. Staff however were incredibly helpful, just feel the design of the hotel overall is far too dark for such a beautiful building, not an improvement I feel. Roof bar is a lovely improvement. Major roadworks going on outside of the hotel so taxis found it difficult to drop off. We only like coffee and pastries for breakfast, so went to great coffee shop next door…Great stay otherwise

Fantastic Hotel!!
The staff was friendly and amazing! Loved the nightly, turn down service with chocolates. The bedding and pillows were so comfortable, I could have stayed in bed all day!! The spa was amazing! I swear the masseuse has magic hands because my back and legs were sore for days from all the walking I had been doing...and after the massage I was pain free!! I had food and drinks at the rooftop - food, drinks, service were all wonderful. The location is great and walking distance too many shops, restaurants and attractions. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I highly recommend it and would def stay here again! Special shout out to the doorman/concierge Juan Carlos who one day ran down the street to hail me a taxi during rush hour and generally went out of his way to be friendly and helpful! Great job!!

The hotel does not deserve a 5-star rating. To start with, the carpet outside our room was stained. It wasn’t dust or it would have been hoovered. Upon entering, the entire room was shrouded in dark: dark walls, one small window in the corner, terrible lighting and a window blind that didn’t allow us to open the window as it was in the way. The bathroom had black walls and terrible lighting with a vertical light smack in the middle of the mirror above the basin so you were unable to see yourself! The loo lid came off every day, the basins didn’t drain, the shower didn’t drain either, the plastic bath overflow came off every day and the towels were frayed. Two of the three lifts did not reach the breakfast room and all the walls had massive scuff marks throughout. The staff however were very friendly and helpful, apart from the monosyllabic robot girl at breakfast who barked orders, without a single smile in 4 days. And breakfast was mediocre. To pay nearly a thousand pounds for a room allows me to expect far better than this sadly and I would therefore never go back or ever recommend this place to anyone. ☹️

This hotel is in a wonderful location and the rooftop restaurant is amazing. The rooms are not quite as nice as I would have hoped for a five-star hotel. Specifically, the bathrooms are not real rooms, but instead a sectioned-off area with a curtain as a wall. There is a sliding glass door that doesn't fully close for the toilet area, but there is otherwise little privacy. For this reason, the room did not feel luxurious at all, but the lobby and rooftop were very nice and made this stay worth it. The service and staff were absolutely excellent and top notch.

This property location was amazing and the restaurants and bars at this location were wonderful and served great food and cocktails. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. I did have an issue with the wifi when I used it for a call, but otherwise this was an amazing stay.
