'Stayed here with another couple for a long weekend on the bourbon trail. The property is well located in Bardstown, close to downtown, so you can walk or do a quick drive. The home is well appointed with everything we needed and communication with the owner was excellent. Like other reviewers mentioned, the second bathroom is located through the office. Not an issue, just something to be aware of. Overall great stay.'

'I booked this place for my BIL’s 40th. Three nights. It was 6 adults, 3 couples. We could not ask for a more centrally located place. Easy drives to all the great distilleries. But out of the way and peaceful. The views of the lake driving in were amazing. We saw deer and a turkey. You can’t quite see the lake but it’s so pretty from the back deck. When we arrived one of the bathroom showers wouldn’t stop running. I messaged the property manager and she and the owner got back to me right away....

'This home was just perfect for what we needed. Everything was supplied that could be needed, and the property description was exact. This location is a great mid-point between a whole lot of things to go see and do. We were not disappointed at all!'

'We were up in Kentucky for 4 days, this house was our home away from home. The kids loved it and the beds are amazing! It's too bad we didn't have time to enjoy the fire pit, we would have loved that as well as the grill if we had another night to stay. They have already told me to we have to stay there again next year. It's 10 minutes from Kroger, James Beam Distillery and the Bernheim Forest and Makers Mark Distillery is not too far as well.'

'Property was as advertised. Clean and stocked with everything we needed. We spent Thursday at the golf tournament in Louisville. Friday was bourbon trail day. Saturday we ended up at Lover’s Leap winery which was awesome.'

'We planned this stay to take advantage of the Bourbon Trail. We were able to visit many distilleries due to their close proximity of this home! The home is beautifully decorated and the beds are comfortable. We took advantage of the outside gas grill and cooked some delicious steaks one night. Brickhouses are right next door which was a special treat to see. We will definitely stay here again!'

'Stayed in Bardstown for the Kentucky Derby and had a great time. All the food and beverages are all within walking distance. If you stay in Bardstown I highly recommend the Kentucky Diner Train. The 2 bedroom studio was perfect well decorated and great attention to detail. Fresh eggs in the fridge, coffee and pancake mix. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.'
