'Very cute little cottage. It is very clean, has all the comforts of home but away from home. We didn’t expect all the little extras that make our holiday perfect such as tea, coffee, milk and even biscuits! There is everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook! It is conveniently situated in the village with shops, pubs and restaurants. Location is also near Monsal trail for walking and cycling along all the beautiful dales by the river Rye. 'Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there.'

'Absolutely beautiful cottage, really well presented. It was only a brief stay but I found it very peaceful, comfortable and I slept really well!! ( I don’t normally when away from home ) Hosts welcoming and very informative on parking nearby and directions for entering the property. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, thank you! '

'We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would...
