'Kamer boven de bar. Elke avond luide muziek , die al om 17.00 uur begon .Er zat geen mens in de bar, alleen het personeel! Gasten kwamen om te eten pas 20.00 of later. 'It was perfect for a night or 2. I tried contacting the owner before hand to ask booking in time and how to get in but no reply so we were hanging around hoping. More communication would be great, however the rooms were small and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, pure white towels, clean bedding and plenty of sockets. Lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return. '

Fantastic cooked breakfast, very good meats from local area. Room was comfortable. Bed very supportive and lovely clean pressed sheets. Bathroom was spotless. Only very minor point was carpet was a little worn and stained. Overall, a really lovely experience and the most wonderful hosts. '

"Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also very clean. The discount at the pub was a nice bonus; they have a nice selection of beers at good prices."
