'I stayed at Peppercorn Cottage with my husband, 3yo, ten-month old and our dog and it was heaven. It's an adorable house, packed with character and beautifully done out. We had everything we needed and Nicola was very helpful in bringing over kids bits and answering any questions. Cheriton is a lovely village; Arlesford is great for small independent shops and the countryside is gorgeous. We had a great weekend all in all and would love to come back.'

'Real nice old cottage in a area where there is lots to see. The cottage has all the modern facilities like washing machine and dryer. In a house that is more than 300 years old. Fantastic!! Low ceilings, my son could just stand up, he is 185 cm high. But we loved it.'

Wickham square is minutes down the road by car with shops and pubs and and excellent pasty shop. Honestly, we didnt have a bad meal there. The property is well maintained and we really enjoyed our stay. The in floor heating kept everything comfortable and the bathroom had all the amenities. 'My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field.
