'The property was peaceful. There are plenty of paces to stroll and nearby hiking trails as well. The sound of the water was soothing and relaxing. I am sure it must be a great retreat from the heat of the summer as tubing and kayaking would be readily available.'

The only thing we found inaccurate about the posting was the exercise room/gym as in the pictures, I'm guessing it was behind one of the locked doors because other than that it looked exactly like the pictures. I'm not going to deduct any stars for that because that wasn't why we booked it but maybe someone else would want to know that.'

'Spent three wonderful days, beautiful setting right on the Big Stoney Creek. The home was very clean, well stocked, the manager responded quickly to e-mails and checking in went smoothly. There is a nice sized deck and patio overlooking the creek. If you are an avid trout fisherman you couldn’t ask for a more ideal location. This home is located on the stocked portion of the creek and if you want to fish for native brook trout you can drive a few miles up the mountains and fish the Little Stoney...

'If you want peace and privacy close to Lost River State park this one is for you. Super clean super quiet and what a lovely little getaway for 2! The privacy leans more towards bringing food etc with you as the closest town isn't super close but everyone was so friendly! We really loved this place and it proved just why they say the WVA is almost heaven. Thank you both for a wonderful stay!'

'We had an absolutely amazing stay in Luray!!! The location was ideal in a safe quiet neighborhood and extremely close to the Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, and various stores & food options. The home was completely immaculate, like a nice new hotel, and had everything perfectly staged. The rooms were able to comfortably fit everyone in our party (7). The bedding and linens provided were clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice with fresh towels and good hot water pressure....

'The property is very nice and as advertised. Very spacious and in a quiet, remote location. Went hiking nearby one day and just stayed on the property to enjoy the amenities another day. About 20 minutes from town where you can get all your supplies if you're just looking to stay on the property for the stay. Our entire group enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.'
